CODE OF CONDUCT
About:
Asansol Engineering College, Department of Computer Science and
Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), is
organizing a Coding Test focusing on the Python programming
language to assess participants' coding and problem-solving skills.
The test will consist of 5 questions across 3 difficulty levels:
2 Easy Level Questions (4 marks each)
2 Medium Level Questions (6 marks each)
1 Hard Level Question (10 marks)
The total score will be 30 marks, and participants will have limited time
to complete the test. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your
Python skills and challenge yourself. Event Details:

We encourage all participants to prepare for an engaging and
rewarding experience.
Rule and Regulation:
1.Test Platform:
The coding test will be conducted on the HackerRank platform.
Participants must create an account on HackerRank (if they don’t
already have one) and be familiar with the platform's interface before
the test begins.
2.Test Duration:
Participants will have a set duration to complete all the questions. The
exact time will be communicated in advance.
3.Code Submission:
All solutions must be written in Python.
Participants must submit their code within the allocated time on the
HackerRank platform.
Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4.Test Integrity:
The test is designed to assess individual skills. Collaboration or cheating
will not be tolerated. Any participant found violating this rule will be
disqualified immediately.
Plagiarism or use of external help (e.g., online compilers, code-sharing
platforms) is strictly prohibited.

5.Judging Criteria:
The code will be judged based on correctness, efficiency, and
optimization.
In case of ties in scores, the submission time will be taken into account.
6.Support:
For any technical issues, please reach out to the event organizers at the
designated support email prior to or during the event.
7.Disclaimer:
The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules, if necessary, prior
to the event.

Awards and Certificates:
Winners: The top scorers will be awarded Certificates of Excellence
along with MAR Points. MAR Points are recognition points given to high
achievers, which can be beneficial for future academic or professional
opportunities.
Participants: All other participants who complete the test will receive
Certificates of Participation.
