GIANT PANDA
The giant panda, also known as the panda bear (or simply the panda), is a bear
native to South Central China. It has a body shape typical of bears. Panda has
black fur on its ears, eye patches, muzzle, legs, arms and shoulders. The rest of the
animal's coat is white. More than 99% of its diet is bamboo.Giant pandas in the
wild will occasionally eat other grasses, wild tubers, or even meat in the form of
birds, rodents, or carrion. When a panda does not sleep, it eats almost constantly.
The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China. There are about
1,590 individuals living in the wild. Pandas are dying out because the bamboo
forests where they live are being cut down and the animals have nowhere to live.
So that pandas do not measure out, we must plant many bamboo forests.
