The following text for questions number 1 to 3

AI is increasingly used in various areas of life, including the

workplace. While some support this development, others express
concern. Below are arguments for and against the use of AI at work.

Supporters present three main points. First, efficiency and productivity.

AI can handle repetitive, monotonous tasks without fatigue, allowing
employees to focus on more complex and creative work. This increases
output and saves time. Second, better decision- making. AI can analyze
vast amounts of data quickly, identifying patterns and trends that help
managers make informed, data-driven decisions. This leads to more
accurate forecasts, improved employee engagement, and better overall
results. Third, learning and development. AI can enhance employee
engagement by offering personalized training. AI systems can detect
skill gaps and recommend tailored programs, helping employees grow.
This benefits both workers—by boosting confidence and capability—
and companies—by fostering more skilled, loyal, and satisfied staff.

Critics, however, raise several concerns. First, job displacement. As AI

takes over tasks once handled by humans, there’s growing fear of job
loss, causing stress among workers. Second, lack of human touch.
Despite its capabilities, AI cannot replicate the empathy, emotional
intelligence, and connection offered by human leaders—essential in
many roles. Third, ethical and privacy issues. Concerns about data
use require clear policies to ensure fairness, transparency, and
respect for privacy, maintaining employee trust.

Conclusion: AI should be used in the workplace, but with proper

regulations to maximize benefits and minimize risks. A cautious,
well- planned approach is essential for the future.

In recent years, the world has seen a big change in how people pay
for things. More and more people, especially young ones, prefer using
digital payment methods like e-wallets, mobile banking, and contactless
cards. This new trend has given rise to what many call the “cashless
generation.”

One main reason for this shift is convenience. Paying with a phone or
card is faster and easier than carrying coins and bills. People can now
buy food, shop online, or even pay for public transport with just a
tap. It also helps reduce the risk of theft since there is no physical
money to lose.

Another reason is the growth of technology. With smartphones

becoming common and the internet being more available, digital
payments have become part of daily life. Many schools and cafes now
even refuse to accept cash, encouraging young people to adapt to this
modern lifestyle.

However, there are some concerns. Some people argue that going
cashless can exclude older generations or those who do not have
access to smartphones or bank accounts. Others worry about privacy
and security, as digital payments can be tracked and hacked.

Despite these issues, the cashless trend continues to grow.

Governments and businesses are working to make digital payments
more secure and more available to everyone. It seems likely that the
future will be even more digital.

In conclusion, the cashless generation represents a big change in how

we handle money. While there are both advantages and
disadvantages, it is clear that cashless payments offer many benefits
in terms of speed and convenience. As long as we ensure that everyone
can join this movement, the cashless future could be a smart and
inclusive one.

4. According to the text, what are the main reasons why many people
are going cashless?

There is more than one correct answer. Click on every correct answer!
 Digital payments are quicker and more practical
 People want to save more by using e-wallets
 Schools and cafes have started refusing cash
 Using cards helps people earn extra income
 Governments are banning physical money

Text for question number 5

For hundreds of years, education has been closely connected to writing. Professors had
been writing down their lectures, and students had been keeping notes after their teachers.
Goose feathers and parchment changed to ballpoint pens and paper. With the emergence
and development of mobile technologies, students nowadays tend to use smartphones or
laptops in class more often than pens and paper. There are many arguments in favour of
doing so

First of all, let us face reality: people do not write as much today as they used to several
years ago. This is especially true in the case of the youth: teenagers and young adults
tend to feel more confident and comfortable typing on their devices rather than with
handwriting. Keeping records after a teacher in class requires a student to write
extremely fast, which often decreases the readability of the notes taken. Sometimes it can
be extremely difficult for a student to understand what he or she hurriedly wrote down
in class. At the same time, typing on a smartphone or laptop helps write the important
information down in a comprehensible and accurate way. Also, handwriting always
involves grammatical mistakes, typos, blots, and so on.

Secondly, technology is something youth nowadays have got so accustomed to that

without it, they operate less efficiently. Students are native to such devices as
smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other gadgets, and naturally incorporate them in
whatever they do, be it leisure time or studying. Not allowing students to use
smartphone and laptop in class means to deprive them of something that is almost a part
of them and of their daily lives. If young people know how to use technology to their
advantage and increase their studying effectiveness with its help, why forbid them from
doing it?

Thirdly, the use of mobile technologies helps make the studying process more engaging
for students. For example, there are teachers who like to illustrate their lectures with
photographs, charts, or interactive graphics. If students are using smartphone or laptop, a
teacher can send them supplementary educational materials via email or in social media.
Or, students may be able to look up contradictory and/ or insufficient information during
the course or a lecture, and ask questions immediately. Smartphone and laptop also
allow changing the format of teaching. Some teachers develop experimental ways of
lecturing, and these new methods tend to show promising results. Needless to say such
formats of studying are more appealing to young people who value their freedom and
time, and prove to be extremely effective.

Based on the arguments above, allowing students to use smartphone and laptop in
class would be a small but substantial change. Modern students are digital natives, and
can effectively use technologies to their advantage. They would be able to not just take
notes on lectures more effectively, but would also eagerly engage in new forms of
studying such as remote studying, using interactive online materials, and so on.

5. Which of the following describes the idea that smartphones and laptops are
allowed in class?
a. Buying a laptop is expensive for students.
b. Replacing goose feathers and parchment into ballpoint pens and paper is a
good solution.
c. Using conventional methods is gradually becoming obsolete
d. Students tend to use laptops in class more often than pens and paper.
e. the use of mobile technologies helps make the studying process more
engaging for students

My Experience as an Intern at a Sports Club

Last summer, I had the opportunity to work as an intern at a local sports club.
It was my first time working in a professional sports environment, and I was
both nervous and excited. The internship went through a few phases,
starting from orientation until finally jumping in to help during practices
and games.

On my first day, I met the head coach, who welcomed me and explained
my tasks. I had to set up cones for drills, bring water for the players, and
check the training schedules. The first few days were challenging because I
was not used to the morning routine. Every morning I had to wake up
early, arrive on time, and follow instructions carefully. I worried about
making mistakes, but the coaches were kind and guided me.

In the second month of my internship, I was trained to handle emergency

situations. I got the chance to put that knowledge into practice when
something unexpected happened. During football practice, a player fell and
hurt his ankle. Everyone stopped, and I quickly ran to get the first aid kit. I
helped the coach assess the injury and ensured the player stayed calm while
we got him seated safely. Luckily, it wasn’t serious, but the experience
reinforced an important lesson: staying alert and prepared during
emergencies can make a big difference.

At the end of my internship, the coaches held an evaluation and reflection

session where they shared the results of their feedback. They highlighted
my strengths in teamwork, responsibility, and communication, and even gave
me a club T-shirt as a gift. I felt proud because I had improved in these
areas. It was a great experience, and I hope to work in a sports club again
in the future.
