Subject: Complaint Regarding Two Doors in Single Room No. 18, Garibi Hatav Society,
Kajupada, Kurla (W), Mumbai – 400072
Respected Sir/Madam,
I would like to bring to your kind attention a matter of concern regarding unauthorized
construction/alteration in Room No. 18, Garibi Hatav Society, located at Kajupada, Kurla
(West), Mumbai – 400072. The said room is currently under the name of Mrs. Indrani
Pawan Kumar Pathak.
It has been observed that there are two entry/exit doors constructed in the same room,
which is not in accordance with the original sanctioned building plan of the society and raises
serious safety and no space is there in the common lane and raises security
concerns for the neighboring residents.
It is important to note that this issue was previously brought to the attention of your
department by Mr. Laxman Veer, one of the residents of the same society, through a
complaint dated 11/03/2020. However, no visible action appears to have been taken in this
matter till date.
I, therefore, request you to kindly:
1. Re-investigate the complaint previously lodged Complaint number: 0722470389.
2. Inspect Room No. 18 to verify the unauthorized structural modification.
3. Take appropriate and necessary legal action as per BMC norms and building laws
to ensure removal/restoration of the structure to its original form.
4. Provide an acknowledgment and update on the actions taken.
Your prompt attention and intervention in this matter will be highly appreciated by the
concerned residents of the society.
