to, according to the instructions?)
Did I follow the correct structure/layout? (For example, letters, stories,
and articles all have different parts).
Did I use connectors or linking words? (Like “and,” “but,” “because,”
“however,” “first,” “then,” “finally” or special connectors for different text
types?)
Did I write within the word limit?

🔤 Vocabulary
Did I use different words (not always the same)? (Did I try using
synonyms to avoid repetition?)
Did I use words that fit the topic? (For example, using “flight,” “hotel,”
“passport” when writing about a holiday.)

📏 Grammar
Did I use the correct verb tenses? (For example, past tense for a story,
present simple for routines, etc.)
Did I check my work for frequent grammar errors? (For example,
incorrect prepositions, missing auxiliary verbs, or wrong word order?)

Did I check my spelling?
Did I use correct punctuation? (Full stops, commas, question marks,
exclamation marks, etc.)
Did I use capital letters correctly?

💡 Style and Clarity

Is my writing clear and easy to understand? (Would a friend or teacher
understand what I want to say?)
Did I write in the right style? (Formal or informal?)

✅ Final Touch
Did I read my writing again to check for mistakes? (Spelling,
punctuation, and grammar)
