Objectives
To equip students with knowledge on how to use the global positioning system
To develop skills on technologies and software’s of geographic information system (GIS0
Challenges
Some points are located in people’s gardens
Some apps were inaccurate
Some areas are hard to reach because of barriers like bushes and thorny trees
Rainfall increases water volumes in nalwekomba wetland hence making it impenetrable
Benefits
It enabled some of us to tour our locality
It enabled some student learn new skills like coordinate locating using smart phones
It made student realize the need for gumboots and fieldwork clothes
It also improved confidence in students
