Africa Children’s Prayer Day (ACPD) 2025- 40 Days of Prayer

(F.A.I.T.H: Mark 5:36b)

Day 1 – Mon, 25 Aug 2025: Trusting God completely - Proverbs 3:5:“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Never rely on what you think you know.” (Dear Jesus, help me to always trust You with everything in my
life. When I feel unsure or afraid, remind me that You know the best path for me and that I can depend
on You for guidance.)

Day 2 – Tue, 26 Aug 2025: Knowing God’s love never changes - Psalm 100:5: “The Lord is good; his love
is eternal, and his faithfulness lasts forever.” (Lord, thank You for loving me all the time, no matter what.
Help me to remember that Your love never changes and that I am always safe in You.)

Day 3 – Wed, 27 Aug 2025: Courage to do what is right - Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be determined and
confident. Your God, the Lord himself, will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” (Father,
please give me courage to stand up for what is right, even when it’s hard. Help me to remember that
You are always with me and will never leave me.)

Day 4 – Thu, 28 Aug 2025: Peace in times of trouble - Isaiah 26:3: “You, Lord, give perfect peace to those
who keep their purpose firm and put their trust in you.” (Lord, sometimes I feel worried or upset. Please
fill my heart with Your peace and remind me that You are in control of everything.)

Day 5 – Fri, 29 Aug 2025: Thanking God for His help - Psalm 121:1–2: “I look to the mountains; where will
my help come from? My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Thank You, Jesus,
for always helping me. When I need strength, courage, or wisdom, help me to remember to ask You
first.)

Day 6 – Sat, 30 Aug 2025: God’s protection - Psalm 121:7: “The Lord will protect you from all danger; he
will keep you safe.” (Lord, thank You for watching over me every day. Please keep me and my family
safe from harm and help me to trust in Your care.)

Day 7 – Sun, 31 Aug 2025: Knowing God is close to me - Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is near to those who are
discouraged; he saves those who have lost all hope.” (Jesus, thank You for staying close to me, especially
when I feel sad or alone. Help me to remember that You are always near and ready to help.)

Day 8 – Mon, 1 Sept 2025: Staying close to God - James 4:8a: “Come near to God, and he will come near
to you.” (Dear Lord, I want to be close to You every day. Help me to pray, read Your Word, and think
about You all the time.)

Day 9 – Tue, 2 Sept 2025: Asking God for help - Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you
will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” (Father, thank You that I can ask You for anything
I need. Help me to talk to You about my worries, my dreams, and my needs.)

Day 10 – Wed, 3 Sept 2025: Praying with a thankful heart - Philippians 4:6: “Don't worry about anything,
but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart.” (Lord, help
me to always say thank You when I pray. Remind me of all the good things You have given me so I can
praise You with joy.)

Day 11 – Thu, 4 Sept 2025: Looking for God’s answers - Luke 11:9: “And so I say to you: Ask, and you will
receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” (Jesus, help me to listen and
watch for Your answers when I pray. Teach me to wait patiently and trust that You will answer in the
right way.)

Day 12 – Fri, 5 Sept 2025: Wisdom to make good choices - James 1:5: “But if any of you lack wisdom, you
should pray to God, who will give it to you; because God gives generously and graciously to all.” (Father,
please give me wisdom to make good choices every day, so my life will please You.)

Day 13 – Sat, 6 Sept 2025: Believing God’s answers are good - Mark 11:24: “When you pray and ask for
something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.” (Lord, help me
to believe that Your answers are always good for me, even when they are different from what I expect.)

Day 14 – Sun, 7 Sept 2025: Praying all the time - 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Pray at all times.” (Jesus, please
remind me to talk to You every day, when I’m happy, sad, or afraid, because You are my best friend.)

Day 15 – Mon, 8 Sept 2025: Knowing God hears me - Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to me, and I will answer you; I
will tell you wonderful and marvelous things that you know nothing about.” (Thank You, Lord, for hearing
me when I pray. Help me to listen to what You say in my heart.)

Day 16 – Tue, 9 Sept 2025: Coming to God with confidence - Hebrews 4:16: “Let us have confidence,
then, and approach God's throne, where there is grace. There we will receive mercy and find grace to help
us just when we need it.” (Father, thank You for inviting me to talk to You. Help me to come to You
boldly, knowing You love me and will help me.)

Day 17 – Wed, 10 Sept 2025: Knowing God is close when I call - Psalm 145:18: “He is near to those who
call to him, who call to him with sincerity.” (Lord, I call to You today with all my heart. Please stay close
to me and help me feel Your love and care all around me.)

Day 18 – Thu, 11 Sept 2025: Worshipping God with my whole heart - Psalm 95:6: “Come, let us bow
down and worship him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” (Father, I worship You with all my heart.
Help me to sing, pray, and praise You with joy because You made me and love me.)

Day 19 – Fri, 12 Sept 2025: God’s presence in my home - Numbers 6:24–26: “The Lord bless you and take
care of you; the Lord be kind and gracious to you; the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace.”
(Lord, please fill my home with Your love, peace, and kindness. Bless my family and help us to always
welcome You into our hearts.)

Day 20 – Sat, 13 Sept 2025: Obeying God’s voice - Luke 11:28: “Happy are those who hear the word of
God and obey it!” (Jesus, help me to listen carefully when You speak through the Bible and to obey what
You tell me to do.)
Day 21 – Sun, 14 Sept 2025: Enjoying God’s presence in nature - Psalm 19:1: “The heavens declare the
glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Lord, thank You for the beautiful world You
made. When I see the sky, the trees, and the animals, help me to remember You are the Creator of all.)

Day 22 – Mon, 15 Sept 2025: Being thankful in God’s presence - 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Be thankful in all
circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus.” (Father, thank
You for all the big and small blessings in my life. Teach me to always say thank You, even when things
are hard.)

Day 23 – Tue, 16 Sept 2025: God’s presence when I’m at school - Joshua 1:9b: “The Lord your God is with
you wherever you go.” (Jesus, please be with me at school today. Help me to be kind, work hard, and
remember You are always by my side.)

Day 24 – Wed, 17 Sept 2025: Inviting God into every part of my life - 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Whatever you
do, whether you eat or drink, do it all for God's glory.” (Lord, I invite You into everything I do today. Help
me to make choices that make You happy and show others Your love.)

Day 25 – Thu, 18 Sept 2025: Thanking God for His goodness - Psalm 136:1: “Give thanks to the Lord,
because he is good; his love is eternal.” (Thank You, Lord, for being so good to me. Your love never ends,
and I am so glad You are my God.)

Day 26 – Fri, 19 Sept 2025: Thanking God for my family - Psalm 127:3: “Children are a gift from the Lord;
they are a real blessing.” (God, thank You for my family. Bless them, protect them, and help us to love
one another as You love us.)

Day 27 – Sat, 20 Sept 2025: Thanking God for my friends - Proverbs 17:17: “A friend is always loyal, and
a brother is born to help in time of need.” (Lord, thank You for the friends You have given me. Help me
to be a kind, loyal, and helpful friend.)

Day 28 – Sun, 21 Sept 2025: Thanking God for His creation - 1 Timothy 4:4a: “Everything God has created
is good.” (Father, thank You for making the world so beautiful. Help me to take care of Your creation.)

Day 29 – Mon, 22 Sept 2025: Thanking God for Jesus - 2 Corinthians 9:15: “Thanks be to God for his gift
that is too wonderful for words!” (Jesus, thank You for coming to save me. Your love is so great, I can’t
even explain it.)

Day 30 – Tue, 23 Sept 2025: Thanking God for food and water - Psalm 67:6: “The earth has produced its
harvest; God, our God, has blessed us.” (Lord, thank You for giving us food and water every day. Please
help those who do not have enough to eat.)

Day 31 – Wed, 24 Sept 2025: Thanking God for good health - Psalm 103:2–3: “Praise the Lord, my soul,
and do not forget how kind he is. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.” (Thank You, Lord, for
keeping me healthy and strong. Please heal those who are sick.)

Day 32 – Thu, 25 Sept 2025: Thanking God for answered prayers - Psalm 34:4: “I prayed to the Lord, and
he answered me; he freed me from all my fears.” (Lord, thank You for hearing my prayers and answering
them in Your perfect way.)
Day 33 – Fri, 26 Sept 2025: Hoping in God’s plans for me - Jeremiah 29:11: “I alone know the plans I have
for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”
(Father, thank You for having a good plan for my life. Help me to trust that Your plan is better than
mine.)

Day 34 – Sat, 27 Sept 2025: Hoping in God’s protection - Psalm 18:2: “The Lord is my protector; he is my
strong fortress. My God is my protection, and with him I am safe.” (Lord, You are my safe place. I will
trust You to protect me every day.)

Day 35 – Sun, 28 Sept 2025: Hoping in God’s strength - Philippians 4:13: “I have the strength to face all
conditions by the power that Christ gives me.” (Jesus, when I feel weak, please give me Your strength so
I can keep going.)

Day 36 – Mon, 29 Sept 2025: Hoping in God’s promises - Joshua 21:45: “Not one of all the promises that
the Lord had given to Israel was ever left unfulfilled; everything he had promised came true.” (Lord, You
always keep Your promises. Help me to remember that You will do what You say.)

Day 37 – Tue, 30 Sept 2025: Hoping in God’s forever home in heaven - John 14:2a: “There are many
rooms in my Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you.” (Jesus, thank You for preparing
a place for me in heaven. Help me to live each day ready to be with You forever.)

Day 38 – Wed, 1 Oct 2025: Hoping in God’s guidance - Psalm 32:8: “The Lord says, ‘I will teach you the
way you should go; I will instruct you and advise you.’” (Lord, guide me every day so I can walk in the
right path.)

Day 39 – Thu, 2 Oct 2025: Hoping in God’s faithfulness - Psalm 145:13b: “The Lord is faithful to his
promises; he is merciful in all his acts.” (Lord, thank You for being faithful and never giving up on me.)

Day 40 – Fri, 3 Oct 2025: Hoping in God forever - Isaiah 40:31: “But those who trust in the Lord for help
will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they
will walk and not grow weak.” (Father, I will trust in You forever. Thank You for giving me strength today
and every day.)
