she will ask the pupils to sing the song.

Activity: Let Us Observe!
The teacher will show a plant. Then, she will ask the pupils to observe it.
After that, she will ask questions about it.
● What can you say about this plant?
● What are the things you observed in this plant?
● Why do plants need leaves?
E. Creative Strategy 2
Activity: Label It!
The teacher will ask the pupils to draw a plant and label it a piece of
paper.

F. Discussion/Analysis
The teacher will show
pictures. Then, she will ask questions
about it.
Teacher: What are the pictures shown?
Pupil: It is all about the parts of the plants.
Teacher: What are the different parts of the plants?
Pupil: The different parts of the plants are root, stem, leaves, fruit, and
flower.
Teacher: What functions do leaves serve in plants?
Pupil: The main function of a leaf is to produce food for the plant by
photosynthesis.
Teacher: How about the flowers?
Pupil: The purpose of flower is to attract pollinators to plant to aid
fertilization do that the plant creates seeds.
Teacher: What functions do fruits serve in plants?
Pupil: The function of a fruit is to spread the seeds and allow the plant to
reproduce.
Teacher: How about the stem?
Pupil: The function of the stem is to provide support to the plant, holding
leaves, flowers, and buds.
Teacher: What is the function of roots?
Pupil: The function of the root is to absorb water and transport them to
the stems.
G. Recap
Activity: Let’s Find Out!
The teacher will play a video about the parts of the plants. Then,
she will ask questions about it.
● Why do you think parts of the plants are important?
● What are the functions of the different parts of the plants?
● How are the flowers and fruits of a plant connected?
H. Creative Evaluation
Activity: What am I?
The teacher will tell a riddle about the parts of the plant. Then, the pupils
will guess it.
Example:
I lie hidden under the ground.
I hold the plant in the soil, sand and sound.
I absorb water and nutrients too.
