Abbreviations
MR= magic ring
Sl st= slip stitch
ch = chain stitch
sc= single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

BLO= black loop only

inc = increase, e.g., 2 dc/hdc/sc in one stitch
dec = decrease, e.g., decrease 2 dc/hdc/sc

Crochet Wall-e Free Pattern R = crochet in rounds, spiral or crochet in rows

( ) at the end of a round or row = indicates how
many stitches there should be, e.g., (12)
Tools and materials: x = indicates how many times to repeat what is
2,5 mm crochet hook within the ( ) or after the number, e.g., (2dc+inc)x6
Catania Originals yarns ( 5 ply ) means repeat what is within the (brackets) six
Tapestry needle, Stitch marker times, or inc x 6 means repeat the increase six
Polyester fiberfill, scissors times.

We put together the body and the underside. I


always mark the corners; starting from the first
corner, I count 16 stitches and place a marker
on the 17th. Of course, make sure that the body
and the underside align properly.

Grey line around the top of the


Robot
Crochet with light grey colour yarn in the FLO
of round 9, skip 8 stitches in the middle so do
not crochet those stitches.
R1: 58 sc ​ ​ ​ ​ (58)
Weave in the yarn end.

Now crochet them together, and stuff it with


polyester filling:

Wheels R6-R7: sc in all 24 st - 2 rounds​​ (24)


Crochet in spiral with light grey colour yarn. R8: in BLO: ( 2 sc, dec ) x 6 times​ (18)
Make 6 pcs with 3 different sizes. Stuff them R9: ( sc, dec ) x 6 times​​ ​ (12)
with polyester filling. R10: dec x 6 times​ ​ ​ (6)
Close the circle by pulling through the front loop
only.

We put together three different-sized wheels and


sew them together as shown in the picture. The
large and medium-sized wheels are placed side
by side, and the small wheel is sewn on top,
between the two.

Wheel Chains
Crochet in rows with dark grey colour yarn.

Ch 6, start second chain in from the hook:

R1-R36: in BLO: sc in all 5 st, Ch 1, turn - 36

Then sew the wheels (or you can glue them) to


the Robot.

Arms (x2)
Crochet in rows with yellow colour yarn.

Ch 4, start second chain in from the hook:


R1-R14: sc in all 3 st, Ch 1, turn - 14 rows​

Weave in the yarn end. Make another one.

Now we crochet them together:


R1: 14 sc, 2 sc in the corner, sc, 2 sc in the
corner, 14 sc, 2 sc in the corner, sc, 2 sc in the

Hands
Each hand will have a double finger and a single
finger. We make the double finger first, then the
single finger, then we will sew them to the ends
of the arms.

Double Finger:

Crochet in rows with light grey colour yarn.

Ch 4, start second chain in from the hook:


R1: sc in all 5 st, Ch 1, turn​ ​ (5)
R2: sc in all 5 st​​ ​ ​ (5)
R3: Ch 6: start second chain in from the hook: 5
sc, Ch 1, turn​ ​ ​ ​ (5)
R4: sc in all 5 st​​ ​ ​ (5)
Make another one.

Single finger:

Ch 4, start second chain in from the hook:


R1: sc in all 5 st, Ch 1, turn​ ​ (5)
R2: sc in all 5 st​​ ​ ​ (5)
Leave a longer tail for sewing.
Make another one.

Sew the double finger and the single finger to


the ends of the arms.

Then sew the arms to the robot.


Eyes (x2)
Crochet in spiral with black and white and grey
colour yarns.

Neck Start with black colour yarn


R1: 6 sc in MR​ ​ ​ ​ (6)
Crochet in spiral with grey colour yarn. Stuff it
R2: inc x 6 times​ ​ ​ (12)
with polyester filling.
Change to white yarn

Then sew them to the neck.

R19: Working in the FLO of round 21 with grey

Electric Front Panel

Ch 13, start second chain in from the hook:


R1-R2: sc in all 12 st, Ch 1, turn - 2 rows(12)

Embroider the panel, see photo:

Then sew the panel onto the front of the Robot.
