Aichi-Nagoya: a hub of manufacturing aggregates various technologies ranging from traditional industries such
as ceramics and textiles to advanced industries such as automobiles, aerospace, and robotics. After receiving a
large volume of requests from MICE event participants wishing to visit local companies, the Aichi-Nagoya MICE
Promotion Council has created this list. This list contains information on companies which have their head office,
plant, or place of business in Aichi Prefecture, and accept technical visits. To apply, please contact the host
company directly (contact information in the “Reservations” section of each company’s profile).

We produce fabrics for suits using traditional low-speed Schönherr weaving machines. By carefully

Visit a miso storehouse that has continued to make hatcho miso for more than 370 years in Hatcho-
cho (formerly Hatcho-mura) located 8-cho (approx. 870m) to the east of Okazaki Castle, the

Miso warehouse that has maintained traditional production methods for more than 680 years in
Hatcho-cho, located 8-cho (approx. 870m) from Okazaki Castle. Hatcho miso is traditionally
produced by placing it in a wood barrel approx. 1.8m in diameter and height, and then covered by 3
tons of heavy stones that craftsmen stack by hand.
