ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Presently report to the COM, Head-Plant HR & Cluster Head (IR)
1) HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
i)Talent Acquisition
Coordinate with senior management in manpower planning and identifying areas for fresh
recruitment, skill upgradation and, where necessary, manpower reduction.
Sourcing CV’s from various sources in line with the job description prepared by me and there
after screening the applications for preliminary interviews. I also attend campus interviews.
Arranging and participating in the selection process and finally deciding on the chosen candidates
along with the Plant Head.
Negotiating job offers, arranging medical tests, checking validity of documents submitted by the
prospective candidates and making final offer of candidates after cross checking references.
Preparation of Manpower Planning & Manpower Costing for new project with the discussion of
concerned HOD’s.
Attend Campus Recruitment for hiring fresh candidates for different profile.
ii) Induction
Inducting new joinees and hand holding them into the company through cultural integration,
giving and receiving feedback and guiding them to be potentially contributing assets for the
organization.
Appraisal: Periodic appraisals and recommendations for confirmation after the satisfactory
conclusion of probationary period or extending the probation period or in extreme cases
termination of non performing employees.
iii) Payroll Administration
Monitoring payroll system through software for all the employees.
Responsible to disburse monthly salary of the employees within stipulated time period.
Responsible to disburse the payment of bonus, leave (annually) within stipulated time period
Responsible to submit PF & ESI Challan for the specified employees.
iv) Performance Appraisal
Review of performance of each employee on yearly basis with the consultation of HODs,
Identification of achievement of goal for each employee in last financial year,
Identification of areas of improvement for the employees,
To set up a clear goal of the employees for upcoming financial year along with the discussion
with HODs.
v) Training
a) Internal
Identification of Training needs and nominating candidates for training as per their job
performance through Skill Mapping& Performance Appraisal process.
Scheduling the Training Programme in consultation with the concerned HODs of different units
and collecting feedback from them after the completion of same.
Evaluation of the employees’ Post Training Programme by coordinating with the technical
superiors as a follow up.
Maintain a Training Calenderfor the employees.
b) External
Arranging outside faculty for various training programmes on subjects such as Health, Safety,
Environment, Technical Upgradation etc.
Organizing I.S.O. Audits and all training programmes, follow up actions resulting there from.
Collecting feedback of training programmes from the participants, briefing higher management
and when required the faculty.
vi) General H.R activities& Administration
Maintain a cordial relationship between the White Coller and Blue Coller employees.
Providing coaching, counseling, mentoring to the employees to achieve their objectives.
Preparing and Maintaining MIS Report on monthly basis.
Working to resolve employee complaints involving working conditions, grievances, violation of
disciplinary actions, etc. according to company policies and legal requirements if applicable.
Prepare all documents in connection with both internal and external HR Audit.
Responsible for all Statutory Compliance in connection with Directorate of Factories,
Directorate of Labour, Directorate of PF & E.S.I, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Bonus etc.
Responsible for Health & Safety for all employees inside the working zone.
Responsible to control the entire Security Department.
Responsible to update and formulate the HR policy.
vii) Compensation
Responsible for various remuneration policies including pay packages for newly hired employees
(experienced or fresher) and executing the same.
Responsible to frame production incentive scheme for the specified employees,
Responsible for loan/advance, Perks, Deduction as well as full and final settlement of the
employees within the stipulated time period,
Responsible for managing welfare services like Group Mediclaim and Group Personal Accident
Insurance (GPAI) Policy.
Responsible to withdraw the gratuity amount of the retired/separated employees.
2) INDUSTRIAL RELATION
Entire gamut of Grievance Management for all White and Blue Collar Employees.
Disciplinary action on workmen: Issuing Show Cause, Letter of Warning, Termination, Domestic
Inquiry, Suspension etc.
Assisting the top management by being an active member of all negotiations with the Recognized
Union at the shop floor level with bipartite and tripartite settlement.
Actively participating for preparing the Management Proposals for all Memorandum of
Settlements and costing of the Union Charter of Demands.
Constant liaisoning with Govt. Officials like Labour Department, Directorate of Factories, Local
Police officials, DM office, SDO office, BDO office, Fire Department, Explosive Department,
SWID etc.
Organizing different types of CSR programmes like Blood Donation Camp, Health Check up
programme, Eye Treatment Programme, Educational Programme, Community Development
Programme etc and also preparing the same in MS PPts.
Responsible for drafting letters to all Govt. Officials and all MOM with statutory bodies as well
as Union.
All welfare amenities like Canteen, Medicals, Uniforms and serious accident cases are handled
directly by me.
3)CONTRACT LABOUR MANAGEMENT
>Responsible for issuing the Gate Pass of all contract workers after verifying their dossier,
>Issue of Work Order to each contractor on timely basis,
>Supervise all Statutory Compliances in connection with Directorate of Factories, Directorate of
Labour, Directorate of PF & E.S.I etc.
>Responsible to maintain a harmonious relationship between White Collar and Blue Collar
employees,
>Responsible to check their daily attendance with the supervision of Security Personnel,
>Responsible to present monthly wages on timely basis.
>Checking monthly bill of each contractor and send to the accounts department timely for
disbursement.
