SOCIAL WORK DEGREE
RESEARCH LINES OF THE SOCIAL WORK PROGRAM

To define the lines of research and innovation, the following has been taken into account,
basically, the relevance to the National and Regional Development Plan, the rights
humans, the Strategic Plan of the Higher Education System, the needs
social aspects of the country, human talent and physical and financial resources, the profile and
institutional lines of research, as well as those of the Faculty of
Jurisprudence, Political and Social Sciences

The lines of research have been linked to the different areas of knowledge.
in which the Social Worker is involved. These will be operationalized
through the research sublines.

The research lines of the Social Work Career (OITS) internalize and

transversally incorporates the principles of :

a) Interculturality, in such a way that tolerance and incorporation are established.


validated knowledge in the 'Good governance' of individuals with the right to
differentiated identity. This tolerance and incorporation will promote the
peaceful coexistence of rights.
b) Intraculturality, which enables awareness and socialization of knowledge
among the different genders, generations, groups, segments, strata and
social classes of the same culture.
c) Participation, as empowerment, in such a way that it generates the
active incorporation of difference in promotion, conservation, management
of rights in general.
d) Equity, in such a way that differentiated cultures, man-woman, young,
compete without differences in access and management to the implementation and
improvement of rights in general.
e) Temporality incorporates the new temporal order as a consequence
historical, that is, the circumstantial sense rescuing secularism and the
history, regarding social movements and the new arrangement
legal and political of the country.
f) Totality and integrality, which implies addressing the social issues
as a whole composed of the tangible and intangible in an integral way and
complementary.

This line focuses on the analysis of the different components of the system.

students, parents, and family members, and directly related community

behavioral transformations due to the influence of technologies

SOCIETY, COMMUNITY AND HEALTH
This line of research relates the training of the Social Worker with the
physical, mental, and occupational health services for the population, starting from the
internal needs of health institutions and external demands of
primary care in collaboration between health centers, community institutions
public, private NGOs, and GADs related to good living and care
prioritized by reducing the coverage gap, and in attention to groups
unprotected relating to administrative, operational, and assistance aspects.

WORKING REALITY WITH A FOCUS ON EQUITY


This line of research involves the contextualization of social work in
work areas of public and private companies, in which it seeks balance
between work responsibilities and individual and family well-being
personnel working in a company seeks to determine the mutual benefit between
the worker and the employer, to improve emotional, salary, and
attention in services.

bibliographic reference in the syllabi of the subjects of the different axes of
training.
