Greeting

Good evening, God bless you,

Talk about the topic

How many of us have not heard the story of the ugly duckling at least once?

What was the situation that the little duck was going through?

Next, I would like to talk to you about one of the weaknesses of the soul that affects the
people in today's world which is rejection.

I want to ask you, for you:

What is Rejection?

The Royal Academy defines Rejection as the non-acceptance, non-admission, or resistance to something;
action and effect of rejecting, forcing to backtrack.

Another concept of rejection is:

Show opposition or disdain towards a person, group, or community.

It is true that a person who feels rejected will hardly be able to move forward, since the
the same feeling of rejection does not allow it.

Many people may not be rejected, but the same insecurity that exists in their
lives make them think and feel that they are rejected. There is a big difference between: Being Rejected
and Feeling Rejected.

2. Where does the rejection originate?

When a man, at any stage of his life, especially during childhood, does not receive that
love; then he suffers from this weakness of the soul, which is rejection

3. What are the main causes of rejection?

It could be due to:

Rejection before birth.

Many times we do not know that the reason we feel like no one loves us is because
we have suffered rejection in the womb; that is why it is always advisable to know our
origin.

Rejection after your birth

You may have been rejected for being born with a gender different from what your parents wanted.
that you had.

Physical defects, religious ideologies, races.

4. What are the types of rejection?

Rejection in your Family: You may have been rejected by your family, whether by your parents,
brothers or another relative, like in the case of Joseph who was rejected by his brothers to such an extent
point of being sold by themselves.

Rejection among your friends: Perhaps you are a person who is continually rejected by
your friends and that makes you feel bad and sad. I want to tell you that there is also a character
Biblical figure who experienced the rejection of his friends, this was Job.

5. What are its consequences?

The reactions of a rejected person harm their emotions.

He/She has a rebellious behavior. Try to exert control over everything.

He feels guilty about others. He/She likes to attract attention.

Express bitterness towards others and towards herself. He/She has feelings continuous of
same. self-pity, feels like a victim.

He/She is a fearful person. Seek many forms of escapism

mistaken.
Expresses that there is no hope.
He becomes extremely perfectionist.
He/she feels inferior to others in almost everything.
Apparent false goodness or responsibility.
What the Bible says about rejection

Many characters in the Bible expressed these feelings at some point in their lives.
for a moment we reflect on the rejection that Jesus faced among the people who those
Times, we would realize that today there is also rejection, since if Jesus being
The Son of God was rejected, how much more will we be rejected many times?

He came to his own, and his own did not receive him. But to all who received him,
to those who believe in his name, he gave the power to become children of God

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was an example of rejection, the majority of scribes,
Pharisees or authorities of that time rejected him and did not accept that he was the Christ.

(Job. 40:4). "Behold, I am insignificant; what can I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth."
Job suffered from the rejection of his wife and friends due to his leprosy.

I am a worm, and not a man, a reproach of men and despised by the people.

(Jeremiah 15:10). “Woe to me, my mother, because you gave birth to me as a man of strife and
man of discord for all the earth. I have not lent nor been lent, and everyone curses me.

The word of God says:

He chose us before the foundation of the world.

We have a divine purpose to fulfill.

But you are the one who took me out of the womb; the one who made me trust from the moment
I was at my mother's breasts.

It doesn't matter that we have been rejected, God accepts us just the way we are and loves us.

(Psalm 139: 13-16) "You formed my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb; I will praise you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it well.
You know very well. "My body was not hidden from you when I was made in secret, and intricately woven in
the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my embryo, and in your book all were written
days that were given to me, when not a single one of them existed

But now thus says the Lord your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, do not
themes, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name, you are mine

So we can say that

Rejection leads to abandonment, His Word gives us life.

Rejection leads to filth His Word to holiness.

Rejection leaves us naked His Word covers and beautifies us.

Rejection closes all doors for us. His mercy opens all the
doors.
Is there a true solution for the one who is rejected?

Definitely God has not called us to feel rejected, on the contrary, God wants us to
let's be free from that negative feeling.

There is no perfect formula to solve this problem, as God can act in different ways.
ways to solve it, we must take the following into very serious account:

Recognizing that you are important to God: when we recognize this, everything else follows.
being important to God is no small thing.

Do not repay evil with evil: that is, let us not allow roots of resentment or hatred to enter our lives.
lives towards the person from whom we receive rejection

Treat others the way you would like to be treated: Let's never change our attitude towards
rejection, Jesus did not do it, on the contrary, he always had a positive attitude in the midst of rejection.

Do not stray from your purpose in this life: No matter the rejection we receive, let us remember that
Jesus has a beautiful place prepared for us in eternity.
