1. Install an Autodesk 2022 application

Install Autodesk network license manager v11.18.0
(nlm11.18.0.0_ipv4_ipv6_win64.msi) that comes inside the patch folder.
The default installation directory is: C:\Autodesk\Network License
Manager

Stop the running processes (lmgrd, adskflex)


Open the 'Task Manager' >> In the 'Processes' tab, look for the
previously mentioned processes,
if you find any running, right-click on it and then on
stop.

Replace "adskflex.exe" (C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager) with the one from


patch

Stop the process 'Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service' (Use: services.msc)


Copy the folders '' from the patch to the folder 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common'
Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing\11.0.0.4854\
Start the process 'Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service' (Use: services.msc)

4. Edit the file 'lic.dat'


Change the HOSTNAME and MAC to those of your PC
| To view your system information, start 'LMTOOLS Utility' >> System
Settings
HOSTNAME = Computer/Hostname and MAC = Ethernet

If you wish, you can change the provider's port and obviously also add
your licenses from previous versions.

Save lic.dat wherever you wish (We suggest the folder "C:\Autodesk\Network License")
Manager

5. Create a licensing service


Start LMTOOLS Utility (lmtools.exe GUI) from "C:\Autodesk\Network License"
Manager

In the 'Config Services' tab


Add a service name
| Select "C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\lmgrd.exe" for the path
Path to the lmgrd.exe file
Select "C:\Autodesk\Network License Manager\lic.dat" for the path
Path to the license file
Check the boxes 'Use Services' and 'Start Server at Power Up'
Click on 'Save'

On the 'Service/License file' tab


Select 'Configuration using Services' and activate 'LMTOOLS ignores
license file patch environment variables

In the 'Start/Stop/Reread' tab


Click on 'Start Server'
| Click on "ReRead License file"
In the 'Server Status' tab you can
** Click on 'Perform Status Enquiry' and check that you have 'adskflex: UP
v11.18.0
and if the functions are activated, example: Users of 87545ACD_2022_0F:
(Total of 100 licenses issued; Total of 0 licenses in use)

6. Start your Autodesk application


When prompted, select 'Use a network license'
Select 'Single license server'
Use 127.0.0.1, localhost, or wherever the flexlm is installed (The syntax
could be: port@server)

Ready
