APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION: Remove oil and grease from surface to be painted with suitable degreaser prior to painting for surfaces above water.
Steel: For maximum protection, wet abrasive blasting to remove surface contaminants and create surface profile about 50 to 75 microns. Ultra high
pressure hydro jetting is acceptable for maintenance of previously painted surfaces.
Dry abrasive blast cleaning to minimum standard Sa 1 & for repair of small area minimum standard St 3.
Concrete: Wet blasting or high pressure water jet blasting is recommended to remove surface contaminants before application of coatings.
MIXING: Mix Component-A thoroughly then mix in Component-B and continue to mix till homogeneous. Do not mix more materials than the quantity to
be consumed within the pot life.
THINNING: Thinning is not allowed for underwater applications. For applications above water to overcome issue related to workability of spray equipment,
not more than 10% by weight of Thinner #72 is allowed.
APPLICATION: KANSAI SURESEAL can be applied by brush, roller or spray above water and for underwater applications, brush or roller is recommended.
CLEANING: Clean all application tools with KANSAI PLC Thinner # 72 immediately after use.
