Whereas, the Administrative Department vide communication Nos. Edu- 1/85/201 9
dated 23.04.2019, No. Edu-1/87/2019 dated 26.04.2019 and No. Edu-I/86/2019 dated
09.05.2019 forwarded the lists of 1864 candidates who were recommended by the JKSSB
for the posts of Urdu, Science-Math & General Teacher in District Cadre Anantna g,
Baramulla, Bandipora, Budgam, Ganderbal, Kulgam, Kupwara, Pulwam a, Shopian
& Srinagar, to this office for issuance of formal appointment orders; and
Whereas, among others, the recommendations of 49 candidates having acquired
degrees concurrently were kept withheld by the JKSSB; and
Whereas, Govt., vide Order No. 671-GAD of 2019 dated 13.06.2019, constituted a
Committee for examining the issue of selectees having acquired degrees concurrently and
the said committee recommended the deduction of 02 points in respect of such candidates
having acquired degrees concurrently; and
Whereas, the JKSSB on the recommendations of the committee, released the
recommendations in respect of 49 (1+48) candidates vide Order No. 60-SSB of 2020 dated
05-02-2020 issued under endorsement No. SSB/Secy/Sel/2020/1273- 76 dated 05-02-2020
& Order No. 61-SSB of 2020 dated 05-02-2020 issued under endorsement No.
SSB/Secy/Sel/2020/1277-81 dated 05-02-2020; and
Whereas, aggrieved with the JKSSB's Orders dated 05.02.2020, some candidates filed
a Writ Petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Srinagar through the
medium of WP (C). No. 468/2020 CM No. 976/2020 litled Manzoor Ahmad Dar & others
Versus UT of J&K & others and the Hon'ble High Court in its Order dated: 24/02/2020
ordered as under:-

Administrative Department vide letter No Edu-NGK/436/2022-01 dated: 21-12-2023,
Sanction is hereby accorded to the Temporary Appointment in favour of 31 (Thirty One)
