Warm-up/ Intro to New Concept "Respect High-Five"
1. Have students stand in a circle.
2. Ask them to think of one way they can show respect.
3. Go around the circle, having each student share their
idea and give a high-five to the person next to them.
4. Encourage creative and varied responses.

Instructional Strategies/ Main 1. Introduction :


Instruction ● Ask students what they think respect means
● Explain respect in simple terms: treating
others, ourselves, and our environment with
care and kindness
2. Types of Respect :
● Discuss different kinds of respect:
a. Respecting others (friends, family,
teachers)
b. Respecting ourselves
c. Respecting our environment (classroom,
nature)
● For each type, ask students to share
examples of respectful actions
3. Role-play Activity :
● Divide the class into small groups
● Give each group a simple scenario involving
respect, such as:
● Helping a new student feel welcome
● Listening to a classmate's idea during
group work
● Taking care of classroom materials
● Have groups act out their scenarios
● Discuss what respectful behaviors they saw in
each performance
