ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE : 2025 FCVRG Rescue Jamboree


II. PARTICIPANTS : 1,200 Participants
III. DATE : February 24–28, 2025
IV. VENUE : Minanga, Gonzaga, Cagayan
V. OBJECTIVES:

 To foster unity and teamwork among participants.


 To enhance disaster response capabilities through training and competition.
 To recognize outstanding participants and teams.
 To promote efficient camp management and environmental sustainability.

VI. RATIONALE:

The 2025 FCVRG Rescue Jamboree aims to promote disaster preparedness and resilience in line with
Republic Act No. 10121, the “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010.” This
event will bring together stakeholders and responders to enhance their skills, knowledge, and
collaboration in disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM). Through activities such as rescue
simulations, team-building exercises, and training sessions, participants will gain valuable experience and
foster stronger community ties.

With this, we are planning to hold a Rescue Jamboree 2025 and Rescue Olympics.

VII. METHODOLOGY:

The 2025 FCVRG Rescue Jamboree will be implemented through careful planning and coordination with
key stakeholders and the formation of dedicated committees. Resources will be allocated based on the
approved budget, with early procurement of necessary materials and services. Participants will be
mobilized through invitations and pre-registration to ensure proper accommodation and meal planning.
The Event Management Team (EMT) will oversee the execution of all activities, including competitions,
fellowship events, and training sessions, while ensuring safety and security. Finally, feedback will be
gathered to evaluate the event's success and identify areas for future improvement.

Team Preparation and Logistics: Each participating Team must bring the following:

• Tents for personnel


• Rescue/DRRMO/Agency Streamer/banner
• Food and Potable Water good for the duration of the event
• Cooking ware and accessories
• Transport vehicle
• Basic Rescue tools, accessories and First Aid Kits
• Documentation device
• Tables and Chair (Optional)
• ICS Form 211 – Check-in Manifest

Personal Readiness:

• Rescue Uniform
• Rain Gear
• Personal Hygiene supplies, Medicines, thermometer and other necessities
• PPEs for COVID-19 (face mask,etc.)
• PPEs for the jamboree (i.e helmet, rescue gloves, life vest etc.)

Meal Arrangement:

• Participants to bring and cook their own food.


• Cooking is limited to use of LPG and/or butane. Strictly no using of fire woods.
• Charcoal is allowed only in designated grilling area.
• Hard Liquor is prohibited.
