PRAYER OF THE TEACHER

Give me divine Master, a sincere love for my students and a

deep respect for the particular gifts of each one.

Help me to be a loyal and dedicated teacher, with my eyes focused

for the good of those whom I serve.

That knowledge be imparted humbly, that one listens with

attention, to willingly collaborate and seek the ultimate good of
those whom I teach.

Be ready to understand, slow to condemn, eager to encourage.

and to forgive.

As I teach ideas and train in skills, that my life and my

integrity open your minds and hearts to the truth.

May my warm interest in each one teach them the taste of life
and the passion for learning.

Give me the strength to accept my limitations, the courage to

start each day with hope, and the patience and humor that
I need to continue teaching.
I accept each student who has come from your hands. I believe that each one of
they are a person of exclusive value, although they themselves do not
look like this.

I know that I have the opportunity to bring light to many young people and

hope, a sense of mission and commitment. I know that you trust in

me and that you are with me.

I ask for your blessing at the beginning of a new day. I ask you to grant me
Bless me and my students, their dreams and hopes.

Let us learn from the wisdom of the past. Let us learn from
life, and each other. That I learn from your guidance, through
above all, and above the lives of those who know you well.

This is true learning: to know how we should live

our life, to know how we are ourselves, and to listen
your voice in every word we learn.
