Many people have someone they look up to, and for me, that person is Mr Lionel
Messi. He is not just a football legend, but also someone who inspires millions of
people around the world. I admire Leo because of his incredible talent, humble
personality, and never-give-up attitude.
First, one reason that I admire Leo Messi is because he shows that true greatness
comes from more than just pure talent. His football skills are amazing and
incredible – he can pass well, he can score from distance, he can dribble through
6 or 7 players, and I think all the best qualities you need from a football player,
Leo has and even the best person. Jose Mourinho, who is a Portugal coach, as
known as “The special one” said: “The player I have never coached in my life is
the little guy (Leo Messi), but the little guy is uncoachable”. Second, what makes
him more admirable is his humility. Even after winning many noble titles, he
keeps stay humble and respectful, never showing off. On top of that, Leo has a
strong never-give-up attitude. When he was young, he faced a medical condition
that makes him unable to play footbal professionally, but he never let that stop
him. He kept training and chasing his dream until he became the GOAT
(greatness player of all time).
In conclusion, Lionel Messi is a person I truly admire and respect because of his
incredible skills, humble attitude, and his strong spirit to never give up. He has
shown that with hard work and the right mindset, anything is possible. From a
little boy comes from Rosario, Argentina to a global sports icon – he is an
inspiration to me and millions of peolple around the world.
