Students Learning Outcomes

At the end of the lesson “Numbers and four mathema�cal opera�ons” students will be able to
• write the numbers (upto one billion) in the place value chart accurately
• add and subtract upto 10-digit numbers
• mul�ply and divide upto 6-digit numbers by 3 digit numbers
• solve the sums by ordering Mathema�cal opera�ons (BODMAS)

At the end of the lesson “Highest Common Factor and Least Common Mul�ple ”
students will be able to

• find H.C.F of three-digit numbers by using prime factoriza�on & division method
• find L.C.M of three-digit numbers by using the division method
• know the rela�on between H.C.F & L.C.M

At the end of the lesson “Frac�ons” students will be able to


• add and subtract frac�ons
• mul�ply and divide frac�on by a number and a frac�on
• mul�ply frac�ons by applying commuta�ve or associa�ve laws
• simplify expressions involving frac�ons by using the BODMAS rule

At the end of the lesson “Decimals and Percentage” students will be able to
• convert unlike to like decimals
• mul�ply and divide the frac�ons, solve the related real-life word problems
• Convert decimals to frac�ons, convert percentage to frac�on and decimal

temperature” students will be able to
• measure length, convert the measurement to the unit indicated, add and subtract distance
• measure mass, conversion of units of mass to the unit indicated, add and subtract mass
• measure volume, convert litres to litres, millilitres to litres, add and subtract volume
• measure �me, convert the unit of �me, addi�on and subtrac�on of units of �me
• measure temperature, convert units of temperature

At the end of the lesson “Unitary method” students will be able to


• calculate the value of objects by the unitary method
• find the ra�o of given values
• find the direct propor�on and inverse propor�on by the unitary method

At the end of the lesson “Algebraic thinking” students will be able to


• define and know the basic terms of Algebra
• add and subtract the algebraic expressions
• mul�ply and divide the algebraic expressions

At the end of the lesson “Informa�on handling” students will be able to


• know how to organise data
• find the average of data
• draw ver�cal bar graph and horizontal bar graph

At the end of the lesson “Geometry” students will be able to


• know about angles and types of angles
• measure and construct different types of angles
• classify triangles by sides, construct triangles
• classify quadrilaterals, construct quadrilaterals

At the end of the lesson “Parameter and Area” students will be able to
• know about perimeter and area
• measure perimeter of a square and rectangle
• measure area of a square and rectangle
