• Compare Search Interest between different Keywords
• Identify Top Regions and Related Queries for specific Keywords
• Analyze Rising Search Trends to understand future opportunities
Problem Statement
There are five parts of this exercise. Please complete all of them.
Scenario:
As an SEO Specialist, you are required to research freelancing, online earning, and AI-related jobs using
a Keyword Research tool of your choice. This will help in understanding which topics are most popular,
and how people in Pakistan and worldwide are searching for online opportunities and AI-related work
trends.
NOTE: Google Ads account setup now requires creating a campaign and entering valid payment details
(credit/debit card). If you don’t have a card or prefer not to use one, you may use any alternative tool of
your choice to complete this exercise.
Tools you can use other than Google Keyword Planner include:
• WordStream Free Keyword Tool
• Google Trends (Recommended)
• Ubersuggest (free version)
• Ahrefs Free Keyword Generator
• AnswerThePublic (limited free searches)
Tasks:
Open the Keyword Research tool of your choice and then perform the following tasks.
1. Search “Freelancing in Pakistan” and note the interest trends for the last 12 months.
2. Compare “Remote Jobs” vs “Onsite Jobs” worldwide. Which keyword is searched more currently?
3. Search “Online Earning in Pakistan” and write 2 top related queries shown in the tool.
4. Search “Artificial Intelligence” and list the top 2 regions where this keyword is trending the most.
5. Search “Freelancing Skills in Pakistan”. List the top 2 rising skills shown.
Guidelines:
• You are recommended to use Google Trends.
• Take screenshots of your results and paste them in your solution file.
• You are required to provide at least one screenshot for each task.
