in German?

Understanding articles in German


In grammar, articles are responsible for accompanying nouns.
In Spanish, these are 'el, la, los, and las' in their defined form.

In German, the article of a sentence must agree with


the gender (feminine, masculine or neutral), the case (nominative, accusative,
dative, genitive) and the number (plural or singular) of the noun to which
accompanies.
The articles der, die, and das correspond to the nominative singular case.
