A purpose is to serve.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
in advance so that we can put them into practice.

When created by God, He always thought about different purposes for the life of each one of us, and
One of those wonderful purposes is to serve Him; at the moment of creating us in Christ, He was looking at the...
good works that we must practice, he set everything in our being so that we can achieve and obtain that
purpose for which we were created.

We are not on earth just to breathe, eat, take up space, and have fun. God formed us
individually so that we could make a unique contribution with our lives.

of the Christian life. Jesus came to serve and to give, and those two verbs can also define your life in the

exalt him.

At times the challenges of service are many and to be honest some may think that we are not

Spiritual formation. God gives each believer spiritual gifts to use in the ministry. They are
special abilities that God gives to believers to serve Him. Spiritual gifts are a gift, not

spiritual.

Opportunities. The Bible uses the term heart to describe the bundle of desires, hopes,
interests, ambitions, dreams, and affections that you possess, in short, your opportunities. Your heart is the source of
all your motivations, what you love to do and what matters most to you. Your emotional heartbeat is the second
key to understanding your way of serving. When you serve God from the heart, you serve Him with enthusiasm and
Effectiveness. Discover what you like to do, what God has placed in your heart, and do it for His glory.

Resources. Your resources are the natural talents you were born with. Some people find it easy
natural with words. Others have innate athletic abilities, they are excellent in physical coordination.
Others are good at math, music, or mechanics.

To use our talents in service, you need to understand four truths:

All our resources come from God.
Every resource can be used for the glory of God.
What I am capable of doing, this is what God wants me to do.
If I don't use them, I'll lose them.

My personality. He created each of us with a unique combination of personal attributes. God makes
the introverts and the extroverts. Those who love routine and those who like variety. He does
thinking and perceptive people. Some work better when assigned an individual task
while others work better in a team. There are no 'correct' or 'wrong' temperaments in the
ministry. We need all kinds of personalities to have a balance in the church and add flavor.
Background. You have been shaped by your background in life, your experiences, most of the

Your way to serve God must examine at least six types of experiences: family,
educational, vocational, spiritual, ministerial, and painful. It is this last category that God

The best way to live your life is by serving God according to YOUR WAY, for which you must
discover your gifts, learn to accept them and enjoy them so that you can develop them to their fullest
expression.

God wants you to discover your particular shape. Start to find and clarify what God wants you to
be you and do it. First, evaluate your gifts and resources. Then, consider the opportunities and your
personality. Finally, examine your background and extract the lessons you learned.

God wants you to accept your form. Since God knows what is best for you, you must accept it.

none is called to do them all. Each one has your defined roles.

The true ones do not serve for the approval or applause of others. They live to be famous only for God.

Servant mentality

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus

Philippians 2:5 (NIV)

To be a servant, you must think like a servant. God is more interested in why we do things than
in what we do. Servants think more of others than of themselves. They focus on others, not on
themselves. This is what it means to 'lose your life,' forgetting yourself to serve others. Jesus
he emptied himself taking the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7 PAR). You cannot be a servant if you are full
of yourself. Only when we forget about ourselves can we do things that deserve to be
remembered.

The only thing required to be such servants is that they be faithful to their master.
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.

The servants think about their work, not about what others do. They do not compare, criticize, or compete with others.
servants or ministries. They are very busy doing the work that God assigned to them. The true servants
they do not complain about injustices, they do not live lamenting nor do they resent those who are not serving. Only
they trust in God and continue to serve.

The servants base their identity in Christ. Since they remember that they were loved and accepted by
grace, they don’t have to prove their worth, they don’t feel threatened by 'inferior' tasks. One of the
the most touching examples of service is the very image that Jesus shows when he washes the feet of his
disciples. Servants think of the ministry as an opportunity, not as an obligation. They enjoy
helping people, meeting their needs and carrying out their ministry. They serve the Lord with joy
God will use you if you start to act and think like a servant.

If we accept our way and make the most of our resources to the highest level, we will be able to give a
special service to God.
