RESURRECTION SERMON

God bless you, brother

As has already been said. This week, many celebrate what Jesus came to do for humanity. I am
make sure that all over the world, just like us, they are celebrating the resurrection of our LORD
Brother, the LORD JESUS experienced the betrayal of those He loved, He experienced the mocking of everyone
world for which he was offering his life, experienced loneliness on a cross where he did not deserve to be.
If we truly reflect on this, if we see it humanly, the Lord Jesus did not deserve
having gone through what happened.

And he did not deserve it, because the LORD JESUS, during the time he was on earth, only did good, Jesus never...
He limited himself in helping, in giving, in healing the sick; he gave everything. As GOD and as man.

Jesus came to this earth to serve. He did not deserve to be whipped, spat upon, and even less to die in the way that
he died, but he did it for love
Yet we are ungrateful men and women, who at times forget what Jesus
He did, we forget everything that Jesus went through out of love for us.

Brothers, how many times have we done things that we know are wrong and even knowing that, we continue to do them?
by doing so, we take lightly the death of JESUS
How many times have we hurt the heart of GOD,
Because the place that Jesus took belonged to us, but his love was so great that for his
We are saved by blood; he did not care about the pain, he did it out of love. Christ redeemed us from our sins by his
blood shed on the cross.
Jesus remains on the cross for a few hours after he dies. Until they go and request the body to be
buried.
Joseph of Arimathea is the one who requests the body and with him are the women who never separated.
It's him and they who prepare the body.
Those who followed Jesus probably thought it was all over, that their hopes had ended.

Jesus soon changed, it only took three days for them to regain new strength to return.
breath of life, the news of an empty tomb announces what is today the greatest event
occurred throughout the history of humanity.
When Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross and was buried, Satan and his fallen angels thought that
they had won a great victory. They were very mistaken! On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead,
victorious over Satan and his followers. Jesus is alive today!
For example, the most important news was that Jesus Christ had died, Jesus has died and everyone
At that time, he had received the news of this event.
That was the news that was flowing at that time.
But what they didn't know was what was about to happen.

We read the Bible:

Mateo 28:1-10 TLA (traducida en lenguaje actual)

On Sunday at dawn, when the time for the mandatory rest had already passed, Mary Magdalene and
the other Mary went to see the tomb of Jesus. Suddenly, there was a great tremor. An angel of God descended from the
heaven, moved the stone that closed the tomb, and sat on it. The angel was shining like lightning, and
his clothes were white as snow. Upon seeing him, the guards were so frightened that they began to tremble and
they remained as dead. The angel said to the women: "Do not be afraid. I know you are looking for
Jesus, the one who died on the cross. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the
place where they had put his body. And now, go immediately to tell his disciples that he is already
He has risen, and he is going to Galilee to arrive before them. There you will be able to see him. This is the message that he...
They gave." The women were very scared, but they were also happy, and they quickly ran to give them the
news to the disciples. In that, Jesus met them and greeted them. They approached him, and they
they embraced his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers...'
disciples, so that they go to Galilee; there they will see me.

The Bible speaks of faithful women. Sister, you who are in this place, feel privileged because it is spoken of.
specifically of women in the topic of resurrection They are the protagonists of this
wonderful event.
It is they who present themselves at the tomb very early in the morning. It is to them that the angel appears and gives them...
it announces not only the resurrection of the Master but commands them to be witnesses of it
Brother, the Bible tells us that when Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jesus, Salome, and Joanna arrived
at the tomb of Jesus Christ to prepare the body, they realize that Jesus Christ is no longer there, that the body
Jesus is no longer here because Jesus had resurrected.
These women went to the tomb with pain in their hearts; they are so sad because their teacher had died.
because they had physically lost their Lord
But when they arrived at the tomb, they felt fear because upon arrival they found that the stone had been
removed but it was even more distressing for them because they did not see the body of Jesus.

They had forgotten it in the midst of their pain.

that Jesus said, they are too sad to remember the words of GOD when HE tells them that on the 3rd
day would resurrect.

These women were experiencing anguish.fear, they were worried, etc. And at the same time
rejoice, because the Bible tells us in verses 5 and 6 do not be afraid, I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified, he is not here
here has risen.
They were scared because they didn't know what was happening.

How wonderful it is to see how Jesus gives a special place to these women and how they received the
wonderful gift of being the first to see the risen Christ
The resurrection of Jesus is the cry of victory over death and over the power of sin. Death does not
could contain Jesus Christ! And thanks to the fact that he resurrected, we, who believe in him as Lord and
Salvador, we know that we will live with him for eternity.
JESUS LIVES brother JESUS LIVES
When they arrive, the stone is already moved.
You know brother that the death of Jesus caused such an impact that the government sent guards to watch the tomb where
the body of Jesus was.
Because they said that the disciples could steal the body of Jesus and say that he rose again. They wanted to avoid.
that this body would disappear
Because for them having Jesus in the tomb was evidence that they had defeated him.
Brother, do you think that Jesus needed someone to remove the stone for him?

Of course not!!!
After resurrecting, Jesus had a transformed body. We read in the gospels that he appeared and
He would disappear before his disciples, and even pass through walls (John 20:19; Luke 24:31). He did not need to
The angel would come to move the stone that sealed the tomb. But the angel did it to bear witness to
Give us evidence of the resurrection of Jesus. Why could Jesus have risen with the stone or without it.
The stone was not removed for Jesus to come out, but so that they could see that He had risen.
as I had promised.
And the guards that Pilate had placed to secure the entrance of the tomb were witnesses to it.
Brothers, over time there have been people who have revived, Jesus did not revive, Jesus resurrected.
I stumbled upon a video where a cartoon and Jesus were compared.
They make a comparison between an animated character and Jesus, where they said that Jesus was inferior to the character.
because Jesus had revived once while the cartoon had revived 2 times.
The issue, my brother, is that Jesus did not revive; Jesus resurrected. And what is the difference?

To revive is to resuscitate your vital signs, that is to make your pulse return when it has vanished for a few minutes.
he who revives awakens to life again, but will at some point experience death
again
to resurrect, it's when you die, clinically you are declared dead and a long time has passed in which you would be
impossible to bring you back, and yet, you live again, resurrection is returning to life, conquering death to never again
to die, but only one has been resurrected, which is Jesus Christ

The angel who announced the good news of the resurrection to the women gave them four messages:

"Do not be afraid." The reality of the resurrection brings joy, not fear. When you feel afraid, remember the
empty tomb.
2. "He is not here." Jesus is not dead and one should not seek him among the dead. He is alive and with his
town.
3. "Come and see". The women were able to see the evidence. They saw and were eye witnesses, The tomb.
it was empty back then, and it is also empty today.
4. 'Go quickly and tell.' They were entrusted with spreading the joy of the resurrection. We too.
We have the responsibility to spread the good news that Jesus has risen.

As children of GOD, we should not live life just to live it; as children of GOD, we have the responsibility to
to say that Jesus lives, that Jesus is the one who gives life and gives it abundantly, we have the responsibility to
to proclaim the good news of salvation.
Brothers, if we live life just to live it, what I do today I do tomorrow, and if I haven't done anything today, how do I live?
Am I not doing anything because I will live tomorrow? We are wasting valuable time, and every moment is a
opportunity to talk about Jesus to talk that only in Jesus there is salvation.

Each of us should ask ourselves how I am living, I am 24 years old and what have I done for GOD
I have truly lived as GOD wants me to live. I have been productive. Brothers, ask yourselves how you have
lively live to live, do we have purpose in our life? it is to go and preach the gospel, now it is being
fulfilling that purpose.

Either you are one of those who say 'me' first, then 'me', and finally 'me'.

We need to understand in light of the Bible, what importance it should have for us as children.
of God the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Resurrection is a triumphant victory and
glorious for every believer. Transmit that so that all who see you wonder why you always
you smile, because you always look happy

Put aside everything that hinders you and enjoy the resurrection

It is interesting that doubt persists in some, despite having seen it with their own eyes.
It is incredible, but the first to doubt that Jesus had resurrected were his own.
Apostles. Nowadays, many doubt, even within the church there are brothers who doubt.
And doubt many times comes from the heart and not from the facts. Paul says that if we do not believe in the
resurrection of the dead, our faith is in vain (1 Corinthians 15:13-20).

Any suffering gains meaning with the Resurrection, for we can be sure that, after
from a short life on earth, if we have been faithful, we will arrive at a new and eternal life, in which
We will enjoy God forever.

If Jesus had not risen, his words would have lingered in the air, his promises would have remained
without being fulfilled

The Resurrection is a source of deep joy. From it, we can no longer live with sad faces.
We must show the world our joy because Jesus has overcome death.

Matthew 28:5-6 -- But the angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'But the angel answered and said to the women: Do not be afraid; for I know that
You are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place
where the Lord was placed.
