EXAMPLE
The Elephant
Introduction

The elephant is the largest land animal in the world. It is well known for its size, strength, and
intelligence.

Physical Characteristics

Elephants have huge bodies covered with grey skin. Their trunks are very useful because they
can pick up food, drink water, and smell. They also have large ears and, in many cases, long
tusks.

What They Eat

Elephants are herbivores, which means they eat plants. Their diet includes grass, leaves, fruit,
and tree bark. They eat a large amount of food every day.

Where They Live

Elephants live in Africa and Asia. African elephants are bigger, while Asian elephants are
smaller with shorter ears. They are found in forests, grasslands, and near rivers.

Behaviour

Elephants live in groups called herds. The herd is led by the oldest female. Baby elephants are
cared for by their mothers and other females in the group.

Conclusion

Elephants are amazing animals. They are strong, gentle, and intelligent. People must protect
them so that they do not disappear from the world.

EXAMPLE 2

The Giraffe
Introduction

The giraffe is the tallest land animal in the world. Its long neck makes it easy to spot in the wild.

Physical Characteristics

Giraffes have long legs, a very long neck, and brown spots all over their bodies. Their tongues
are also long, which helps them reach food in tall trees.
What They Eat

Giraffes are herbivores. They mostly eat leaves, especially from acacia trees. Their height allows
them to eat food that many other animals cannot reach.

Where They Live

Giraffes live in the grasslands and open woodlands of Africa. They like places where there are
many tall trees for feeding.

Behaviour

Giraffes usually live in loose groups. They are gentle animals but can defend themselves with
strong kicks if they are attacked. Baby giraffes are able to stand and walk shortly after birth.

Conclusion

The giraffe is a unique and fascinating animal. Its height, gentle nature, and special adaptations
make it one of the most loved animals in Africa.
