ACTIVE & PASSIVE VOICE FORMULAS:
Present Tense
1. Simple Present
• Active: Subject + V1 (+ s/es)
• Passive: Object + is/are + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: She plays football. → Football is played by her.
2. Present Continuous
• Active: Subject + is/am/are + V4
• Passive: Object + is/are + being + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: I am eating lunch. → Lunch is being eaten by me.
3. Present Perfect
• Active: Subject + has/have + V3
• Passive: Object + has/have + been + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: They have finished homework. → Homework has been finished by them.
4. Present Perfect Continuous
• Active: Subject + has/have + been + V4
• Passive: No passive form
• Example: He has been reading for an hour. → (No passive)
Past Tense
1. Simple Past
• Active: Subject + V2
• Passive: Object + was/were + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: She watched a movie. → A movie was watched by her.
2. Past Continuous
• Active: Subject + was/were + V4
• Passive: Object + was/were + being + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: They were playing outside. → Outside was being played by them.
3. Past Perfect
• Active: Subject + had + V3
• Passive: Object + had + been + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: I had completed the task. → The task had been completed by me.
4. Past Perfect Continuous
• No passive form
Future Tense
1. Simple Future
• Active: Subject + will/shall + V1
• Passive: Object + will/shall + be + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: I will visit my uncle tomorrow. → My uncle will be visited by me tomorrow.
2. Future Continuous
• Passive: No passive form
3. Future Perfect
• Active: Subject + will/shall + have + V3
• Passive: Object + will/shall + have been + V3 (+ by Subject)
• Example: They will have completed the task. → The task will have been completed by them.
4. Future Perfect Continuous
• Passive: No passive form
