OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:
Domestic Tourism - II delves deeper into the intricacies of travel within one's own country, building upon
foundational knowledge. This course explores advanced aspects such as specialized domestic tourism products,
including niche segments like MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), adventure tourism, and
wellness tourism within India. Students will gain practical skills in crafting detailed domestic tour itineraries,
understanding pricing strategies and costing for various tour packages, and applying effective business
communication to handle complex reservations and client interactions. Furthermore, the course emphasizes the
critical role of personality development and relevant soft skills, preparing individuals for successful careers in the
dynamic domestic tourism sector.
