Every morning you wake up and forage for ingredients for your drinks, luckily you have a garden
that has an ample supply of all that you need in the backyard of your inn. You have quite the
dexterous paws, having a background as a forager, but nobody’s perfect and you still mess up
from time to time when it comes to harvesting the most finicky and delicate of herbs.
As the inn's residents start to wake, the sound of their slow shuffles or frantic scurries fill your
sensitive ears, it’s time for another day, another day of drink making and of learning about the
lives of those around you. Oh! Someone just entered the inn and is making their way towards
your counter, who are they?
They are a… (roll 1d20 for each column of the table and combine the result of each roll

Questions
The heart of this game is asking questions! Don’t be afraid to ask any of the residents of your
inn anything at any time as long as it makes sense within the context of your tale! Good
questions at the right time will yield juicy bits of lore about the world that you inhabit, and
fantastical tales of the many adventures of the creatures that reside at your inn.
Yes/No Questions (roll 1d6 and check the result in the column based on if the creature or
situation is likely/unlikely/or has an even chance to yield the answer yes, yes is usually the
positive result of the question and questions should usually be framed so that you will want to
roll a yes):

Places of Interest:
Mortwood - city of mice worship a large fallen oak tree branch that looks like a snake, they offer
berries and nuts to the branch as prayer and as thanks. All is fine until one day the berries and
nuts begin to disappear… as well as some of the villagers.
The Perch - At the top of a steep hill sits many pristinely painted bird houses of various heights.
Each birdhouse is perched atop a long thin stick. When the wind blows hard enough, the
birdhouses sway from side to side, mesmerizing and oddly sturdy. You hear the birds but never
see them…
The Crumbling Hive - Nestled in the large crevice of a rotting tree sits a huge beehive, half of it
melted slightly in the sun. You hear furious buzzing coming from within the structure, but you
recognize that it is not the buzzing sound from a bee. Occasionally you hear a crows shrill cry
emanating from deep within the bowels…
The Lavender Tangle - A deep network of branches and lavender buds create a beautifully
messy ecosystem of bugs and birds all zipping around with places to be and things to do. You
notice that the residents lower down on the trunk of the lavender tree act much differently than
the ones at the top…

Draw and create dungeon but you have cards that tell you what decisions to make, round is
over when all the cards are drawn from a x card deck, cards could trigger events, expand lore,
encounters, etc.
-characters pick traits that have skills or items associated with them instead of having stat
points.
