This is to highlight the prevailing chaotic condition of the Casualty Department of your hospital.
Yesterday I was witness to this when I brought an accident case with head injuries there.
There was no doctor on duty, although the time was 12 noon. Despite many requests to the other Staff
on duty, the patient was not attended to, as the staff was waiting for suitable instructions from the
doctor-in-charge, who was missing. All this time the patient was losing blood.
After a lot of precious time was lost, a doctor appeared from inside of the hospital, and when I
approached him for attending to the patient, he asked me to fill up a form and sign it before any action
was taken, as it was a police case, being a hit-and-run accident. Finally, a proper examination of the
wound was done and suitable first aid given to the patient.
This shows utter insensitiveness on the part of the staff of the Casualty Department. You are requested
to ensure that the same behaviour is not repeated in future cases.

I am a resident of Manu Vihar living in one of the societies situated there. I want to draw your attention
towards the chaotic situation which prevails here due to the Rosemary School in the colony. Every day in
the morning and the afternoon there is huge stream of school buses, mini buses and vans as well as
private cars on the road passing in front of the school. So many vehicles on the road at the same time,
many of which are either dropping students (in the morning) or picking up students (in the afternoon) at
the school gate, cause a massive traffic jam.
We suggest to provide two traffic constables here to regulate the traffic in the morning as well as when
the school gets over. Their presence will certainly ease the situation.
