PRAYER DAY SPEECH

‘’Our director in his absence, Manager, the headteacher teachers and my fellow
pupil’s good afternoon? It has been such a long but worthy journey for all of us.
Today as I stand before you, I would like to most sincerely thank the almighty
God for the precious gift of life. This far we have come, it has taken the hand of
God.

Secondly, our heartfelt appreciation goes to the school administration for its
tireless efforts for ensuring we acquire quality education at Mara Christian
Academy under the able leadership of Mr. Gilbert. The administration has seen
it that we are provided with the state-of-the-art facilities. This has not only
made learning interesting but also transformational.

The candidates this year cannot forget the Mara Christian teaching staff whose
devotion to their noble duty is beyond reproach. Like potters of work, they
have continuously moulded us into the best shapes we are today. Undoubtedly,
the knowledge they have impacted us will give us a HeadStart over the others
when we go to secondary school.

My fellow candidates, remember that K.C.P.E is taken by many athletics but


only the one who submits to strict discipline will win. We should all run straight
for the finishing line because we are already in the home stretch. It does not
matter how many laps you have covered as number one or last. It matters
greatly how you have finished the race. Let us give it our best kick and finish it
well.

As I wind up, remember to endeavour to fly the Mara Christian’s flag high as
you soar greater academic heights. Thank you very much and may God the
Lord grant the desires of your heart.’’
