BILL No. 0- GENERAL REQUIREMENTS /
General Notes on General Requirements
Mobilization and De-mobilization

Allow for Mobilization and De-mobilization for all the required Equipment, Materials, Labour to complete the works.

Field Offices

Allow for offices, sun shades for car parking, including airconditioned site facilities and suitable work space, fax, telephone, courier, furniture and
equipment (including personal computers and software), copiers and its consumables, IT Support and IT Specialist, custodial staff, and the like are
provided to the Consultant, by the Contractor during the duration of the Construction Supervision. Also include for removal of all site offices and
any other temporary works on completion of the works.

Design and Shop Drawings

Design or check design of all the Facilities and External Works including submitting complete location and site plan drawings and details showing
the facilities, roads, grounds, footpaths finished levels as noted on the drawings complete as required including all the Land Surveying works.

Allow for the submission of detailed working and shop drawings, structural calculations, Technical catalogues and samples etc. complete as noted
on the drawings.

Submittals

The Contractor shall supply all the following documents as required in the contract documents:

As built drawings - one reproducible master set upon completion of all works on site for the Buildings and all External works with transparent
film and on Software CD all as per Client's standards and approval.
Operation and Maintenance Manuals
Testing and Commissioning Certificates
Training materials
Keys and any necessary passwords or codes
Warranties
Permits
Approvals

Material Samples

Allow for submitting all required material samples and catalogues.

Assets Survey
Allow for submitting 'Assets List' for the complete scope of work. Survey to match as per facility codes and numbers shown on the As-built
drawings and to be submitted to Engineer - soft and hard copies as required.

Existing Utility Services

Allow for preserving/re-routing all existing services complete including the services as shown on drawing for all areas which fall in the way or in
the premises of new construction (shown or not shown on the drawings) and as instructed by the Engineer in consultation with concerned
authorities as required including Ducts, Pipes, Cables, Manholes, etc.., and including provision of all materials and labour for the concerned
works, all as noted on the drawings. Contractor to verify all existing services during site visit. NOTE: All associated fees to be paid for by the
Contractor.

Building Permits and Statutory Approvals

The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all approvals necessary for the Government Departments, local Service Authorities (i.e.
Electricity & Water Authority, Telecom Service provider , Civil Defense) as required in the performance of this Contract. NOTE: All associated
fees to be paid for by the Contractor.

The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the works with Municipality, for water and electricity, and any other necessary authorities
including bearing the cost for any temporary service connections required for construction purposes.

Contract Insurances

The Contractor should allow for provision of all the contract insurances in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. The contract insurances
shall be from an approved insurance company and to the approval of the Engineer and the Employer.

Bonds

The Contractor should allow for provision of all the bonds in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. The bonds shall be from an approved
bank/finance institute and to the approval of the Engineer and the Employer.

Guarantees / Warranties

The Contractor should allow for provision of all the guarantees/warranties in accordance with the Conditions of Contract and specification. The
guarantees/warranties shall be to the approval of the Engineer and the Employer.

Water and Electricity

Contractor shall cover the costs for water, electricity and power required for the works. Contractor to pay for all costs for the necessary temporary
installation including pipe work, pumps, water tankers, storage tanks, generating equipment, etc., and remove on completion and make good all
work disturbed. NOTE: All associated usage charges and fees to be paid for by the Contractor.
Watchman and Security
Provide and maintain necessary watchmen security arrangements including all lighting requirements required to safeguard the site, plant, public
and adjoining properties.

The Contractor shall be liable for any claims arising from loss or damages suffered; including for reinstating and making good after any damage.

Health, Safety and Environmental Work

The Contractor is to allow for providing all health, safety and environmental work provisions including welfare of all work people, inclusive of
those employed by the subcontractors as per prevailing authority requirements.

Cleaning of the Works

Immediately prior to the handing over of the works, the Contractor shall thoroughly clean all buildings and landscaped areas, wash down windows
and generally clean the works ready for occupation, all to the approval of the Engineer.

EARTH WORKS
Site Preparation

Site Clearance from all types of obstructions, including any plants or trees (complete removal
from site) within the area of new construction shown or not shown on the drawing

(Contractor to verify existing condition during site visit). All trees and shrubs to be removed as per user requirement. This area included area
inside the fence + 10 meters clear outside the fence (as shown on drawing)

Miscellaneous Demolition

Carry out a detailed site survey to identify, record, and map all existing visible and subsurface structures, obstructions, and utilities within the site
boundaries including but not limited to structures above and below ground, pavements, fixtures, fittings, or any other elements (not specifically
identified elsewhere in the Bill of Quantities), that may require demolition or relocation subject to approval by the Engineer and to be coordinated
with relevant authorities having jurisdiction.

Full site survey to be carried out to establish original ground levels for comparison to final ground levels

Topographical Survey for entire site inside fence + 10 meters outside fence (clear area) and shown on the survey drawing.

Must be submitted and approved prior to construction

Bill No. 01- EARTHWORKS

Grading, Leveling, Backfilling and Compaction with

Material Sorting
Carry out grading and leveling of the site to the required formation levels and profiles as shown on the drawings and/or as directed by the
Engineer. The work shall include;

Excavation of existing ground and sorting of excavated materials into reusable and unsuitable materials. Reusable materials shall be temporarily
stockpiled at approved on-site locations for future use, protected from contamination and unsuitable/unusable materials shall be removed from site
and disposed of at an approved disposal location

Backfilling in required areas using suitable excavated or approved imported material, in layers not exceeding (150/200) mm thickness and
compacted to achieve minimum (90–95%) or as specified. All works to include necessary trimming, forming of slopes or embankments, moisture
conditioning, environmental protection, and compliance with the Engineer’s instructions, drawings and specifications.

Removal of existing concrete/block boundary wall fence within the clearance limits. Includeing all metal fence foundation and any gates. To be
backfilled to surrounding grade. All materials to be removed from site.

Extend the RESA

Includes backfilling of area and extending the existing RESA. The area needs to have the extended profile of the runway as shown on the plans.
Contractor is responsible for all underground locates prior to construciton. 90 m wide x 240m long, past the blast pad

Backfill and compaction of the RESA areas on the north and south ends. (location shown on drawings).

Level area around the perimeter where fence is located and compact the rock as necessary to ensure the fence is securly installed into the ground

Grading, Leveling, Backfilling and Compaction with Material Sorting
Removal and Reinstatement of Approach Lights

Allow for the safe removal, temporary storage, and subsequent reinstatement or relocation of existing approach lighting systems. This includes
disconnection and reconnection of power and control cables, removal and reinstallation of masts, fittings, foundations (if required), alignment and
testing to ensure full functionality, and all associated temporary works. All activities shall be carried out in accordance with ICAO standards,
airport authority regulations, and to the satisfaction of the Engineer.

entertained.
