Docker Installation

1. Go to Docker Hub homepage


https://hub.docker.com/

2. Click on Signup Button

3. Create Account (Type: Personal)

4. Once account creation step is completed, now sign-in into the same

5. It will redirect to Welcome to Dockers Home Page


6. Now click on Go to Download button under Docker Desktop

7. It will be redirected to Get Docker page

8. Select your operating system and click on that button. I have clicked Docker
Desktop for Windows

9. It will redirect to Install Docker Desktop on Windows page

10. Now click on Docker Desktop for Windows – x86_64. Software will be
downloading into the system
11. Search for windows features in your system search bar

12. Click on Turn Windows features on or off and select the checkbox Windows
Subsystem for Linux

13. Now, click on the downloaded installer.exe file


Then click on Yes, you can see the following tab. Select all the check boxes
under configuration and click on Ok.
14. Your installation begins now

15. After successful installation, you can see the following page
16. Close this and you can see Docker Desktop icon on Desktop. Double click
on the icon

17. Then accept the Service Agreement by clicking Accept

18. Now you can see Welcome Docker page

19. Again, go with Google Account, you can see the following page
20. Now, either click on Open Docker Desktop or Proceed to Docker Desktop

21. You can see the home page as follows:
