Do they drive their own cars or take trains?


What are some typical means of transportation to get around?

People in my country get around in different ways.

Many people drive motorbikes to work or travel because they are easy to drive and can
move through traffic during busy times.

Some people prefer driving cars because they are safer and faster.

But since parking is limited in the city center, many people take the bus instead. The bus
service isn’t modern, but it’s very cheap, so people can save money.

So, people in my country use different types of transportation.

2 - What means of transportation do you use to get around


Do you drive or take public transportation

I drive my motorcycle most often. It is very convenient because I can go wherever I want to.
It saves my time because it is flexible to move during peak hours. It’s easy to drive and can
move through traffic during busy times.

However, I usually use bus service when the weather is bad. It is cheap and safe to get
around by bus.

So, I use bus service or drive my own motorbike to get around.

3 - How did you travel when you were a child


Were the types of transportation different back then?
Describe for me how people used to get around in your city or town.

When I was a kid, there were not many cars.


I used to ride my bike to get around.
People used to take the bus or trains, but they were very slow.

Now, I drive my car to get around. It is faster and safer.


Nowadays, people can take elevated trains = skyline trains or the subway to get around.
Sometimes, they go by plane to save their time.

So, transportation has become a lot better over the years.

What did you do to deal with the situation?

I remember when I was stuck in traffic jam for a long time.


It was during the holidays.
I was on my way to my friend’s house.
I couldn’t move because there were so many cars on the street.
It took me 4 hours to get to my friend’s house.

I was very tired when I arrived.

Since then, I’ve tried to avoid driving during holidays.
