Task 1
How to view the history and delete the history of last week.
Open your Web Browser:
Launch the web browser you use to surf the internet. Examples include Google
Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
Access Browsing History:
Look for the option to access your browsing history. This is usually found in
the menu or toolbar of your browser. In most browsers, you can access the
history by pressing Ctrl+H (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+H (Mac).
Filter by Date:
Once you're in the history section, there's often an option to filter by date. You
can usually find a menu or search bar where you can specify the time range for
which you want to view history. Choose the last week or specify the dates
accordingly.
Delete History:
After filtering the history to show the entries from the last week, you can
typically select individual items or choose to delete all history from that time
frame. The option to delete history is usually found near the browsing history
display. In most browsers, you can right-click on individual entries or use a
"Clear History" or "Delete" button to remove the selected items.
Confirm Deletion:
Some browsers may prompt you to confirm the deletion of your browsing
history. Confirm the action if prompted.
Check for Completion:
Once you've deleted the history, it's a good idea to verify that it has been
cleared. You can do this by revisiting the browsing history section to ensure that
entries from the last week are no longer visible.
