➢ Major transformation of commercial activities occurred along the Vikas Marg


stretch.
➢ Area of Swasthya Vihar Neighborhood park decreased as it was taken by Delhi
Jal Board.
➢ A portion of Rajiv Gandhi JJ Clusters increased in the existing scenario.
➢ The existing drain was later covered by road, currently named Master Plan Rd.
➢ Number of plots increased over the years.

On 15.09.06 GNCTD notified 2183 streets for local commercial/mixed use activities. Among
them, Vikas Marg ( Madhuban Chowk to karkarimore Preet Vihar Shankar Nagar New
Rajdhani Enclave etc.) has been notified as a commercial street as Shahdara South Zone
