LESSON: PERSONAL SAFETY PROTOCOL TO AVOID DEHYDRATION AND OVEREXETION

As you participate in moderate to vigorous physical exercises or sports, you must bear in mind that there are personal
safety precautions that you need to observe to avoid certain body conditions that may cause health problems while you
engage yourself in these activities. The body conditions include dehydration, hypothermia, hyperthermia, and
overexertion. Each of these conditions can cause health risks to an exerciser. Therefore, following personal safety
protocols must be observed seriously. Exercising in an environment with extreme temperatures can really cause serious
health problems if necessary, precautions are not observed.
