Welcome to the FM Scouting Regions Cheat Sheet.

Well, it's not really a "cheat sheet" per se and more like a handy
information sheet, but some people might consider the information I included in this document "cheating".

With the release of FM24, I thought it was time I updated the spreadsheet and I noticed a couple of things had actually
changed, from some reputation changes to the way Game Importance is named now. So, away we go to update.

Without further ado, let's get into the details: At the bottom you will find the different sheets in this map, one for each
continet, in alphabetical order. Within the spreadsheets the countries are sorted by the region FM groups them in and
then alphabetically. New information I have included this year is information that is available through the pre-game Editor
that comes with the game. No external tools were used. This information includes:

- the YOUTH RATING of a country: I am currently not aware of how impactful Dynamic Youth Rating is in this year's FM.
This is the Youth Rating of a country at the start of the game.

- the GAME IMPORTANCE: this stat tells you how important football is in any given country. A country with a higher
youth rating but low game importance might produce lower quality newgens. In FM24, the terms have changed and it's
now tiered as Very Important, Important, Fairly Unimportant, Unimportant. I guess the "Completely Useless" tier was not
much appreciated...

- the REPUTATION: I chose to include a country's reputation as an additional piece of information, as it might be easier if
you play in a higher reputation country like Germany to poach players from lower reputation countries. This also means
vice versa that it might be harder to get players from higher reputation countries to join lower reputation countries

- a TIER: I decided to include a Tier system into this sheet, where I rank countries based on all the above information and
whether it is worth it or not to scout that country. Now, this tier is not supposed to be looked at in a vaccuum but rather a
combination of all the things presented. None of the tiers are actually set in stone and I am open to change tier ratings.
But for example, not a single one of the top 6 nations has gotten an S rating, simply because young players from these
countries will often cost you a lot of money compared to what someone from, say, Nigeria can bring to the table.

FM22 introduces a new feature in Dynamic Youth Rating. The values in this
spreadsheet are taken from the pre-game Editor and represent the Youth Rating values
at the start of a new game. I presume it will take a lot of time in a save to get any
significant changes, but just be aware that these values may not apply anymore if
you're 50+ years into a save.
