Graduation Speech

architects of change, building a strong future for a new Philippines with unity, resilience, and
boundless hope."

To the dignitaries, parents, fellow graduates, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good
morning!

Today marks the culmination of six remarkable years that have passed in the blink of an
eye. Those years were the season of hard work, sacrifices, and perseverance but today is the
time to celebrate our achievement, our success, and our rewards.

I know that each one of us has our own story of struggles in our studies. And I know that
our quest has just begun but to survive the six long years in high school is already a milestone.
Sabi nga, malayo pa pero malayo na ! And though, this is a fruit of our hard work and study, but
those virtues are not enough. We owe this to the many people who have contributed and
inspired us to reach this far.

In behalf of my fellow graduates, I would like to grab this opportunity to extend our
heartfelt gratitude to all hardworking and income sacrificing parents and guardians present
today, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts for your sacrifices and for supporting
us in all aspects of life. You are our pillars of vigor. This achievement is humbly dedicated to
you.

Of course, special mention to my parents, who have been my number one supporter in
life. Salamat kaau sa inyong pag antus sa amoa. Sa akong papa nga doble kayod, moadtog
uma sa adlaw, mangisda sa gabii para lang makaprovide sa among family. Sa ako pud mama
nga all -out support sa ako bisan pa sa among kalisod. Salamat jud kaau sa inyo mama ug
papa and to my entire family.

To our great teachers, our sincerest gratitude for helping us become the better version of
ourselves. You have played an instrumental role in our journey. You have taught us how to be
self-motivated, active learners, and above all to be resilient and hardworking making our
learning possible despite sa kataas sa heat index recently. Indeed, you taught us beyond the
four corners of our classroom and for that we thank you very much.

To my closest friends, classmates, and batch mates, you simply made every day a party
in our room. I know that as of this moment, just like me, you guys, have mixed emotions . We
feel extremely happy and our parents are proud that we are able to secure a diploma after all
these years of endless study, performances, projects and stress. Congrats to all of us because
we managed to survive without any casualties. Seeing each of you now, wearing your toga of
success, somehow gives me a little flashback of the many different memories with every one of
you.
 Who could ever forget the triumph and disappointments we encountered along the way,
the classes and teachers worth remembering, the ridiculous adventures that brought wrinkles to
our teachers, and our lost and found love affair. How about those epic battles in the canteen
over who had the last piece of puto and toron. And who can forget the nerve-wracking and
exciting moments of acquaintance party, intramurals, research defense, ang atong pamaligya,
festival of talents, and many others, but no matter what, our class was able to rock the day
away, proving that no obstacles could stop us from having a great time.

I know we have all shared amazing memories with each other, cried on each other’s
shoulders and laughed even argued like crazy but still, I see that the bonds between us will
never break and that this will be something we will always have. Ingon pas atong mga teachers,
isa ta sa pinakaunited nga sections. Yes, we are very happy today but I also see eyes slowly
tearing up, which makes me feel sad because we must say our temporary goodbyes. knowing
that this is the last time we will all be together as students here in our school. We will miss our
school, our teachers, our crushes in the lower years, our favorite events in our school, ang
atong iniroay sa sulod sa room and most of all, we miss each other, because we have grown up
together and have come to know each other as brothers and sisters. It has been a terrific six
years and for me, parting is such a sweet sorrow. Salamat sa mga memories guys, mingawon
kaayo ko ninyo. Kabalo ko naa puy mingawon sa ako diha.char..

To Jaliobong National High School, the lessons we have learned from you will serve as a
sturdy foundation as we venture into the realms of higher education. The resilience you have
cultivated within us in facing different challenges will help us navigate the complexities of our
next journey, with confidence and determination. Thank you very much for being and always be
our home.

To the dignitaries, who give their time and effort just to witness this memorable event,
thank you so much. You simply made this occasion momentous.

Above all, I would like to give all the praises, adoration and thanksgiving to our Almighty
God, the source of life, author of success and spring of blessings and guidance. For without
Him, everything would not be possible. To Him be all the glory!

Before I end this speech, let me remind my fellow graduates and to the parents and
guardians, that our quest is not yet over coz we’ve only just begun another chapter of our lives
to reach our dreams. Our beloved parents, we need your support more than ever, and for that
mohangyo unta mi sa inyo nga kung poide, inyoha ng doblehon among allowance next year.

Well, seriously, this year’s theme "Filipino Youth for a Strong Future of the New
Philippines", captures the essence of our collective mission and responsibility in shaping the
destiny of our nation. As the future torchbearers of our country, we hold within us the potential
to ignite positive change and propel our nation to greater heights.

Let us never underestimate the impact of our actions, no matter how small they may
seem. Each step we take towards progress, each act of kindness, and each moment of
solidarity brings us closer to the vision of a stronger, more prosperous Philippines for all. Thank
you very much and God bless us all.
