“GDG WALKTHROUGH SESSION REGARDING SOLUTION CHALLENGE”

Academic Year 2024-25

Event Name : Walkthrough session regarding the GDG Solution Challenge

Date : 25th January, 2025

Time : 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Venue : Online (Google Meet)

Coordinators : Team GDG On Campus PHCET

Department : Computer Engineering

Number of attendees: 50+

Ojective: To provide participants with a clear understanding of the Solution Challenge,

including its objectives, guidelines, and evaluation criteria. The session aimed to assist students
in the registration process by guiding them through account creation on the GDG website and
ensuring successful enrolment.

To encourage student participation in innovative problem-solving and guide them through the
Solution Challenge, the Club organized a Walkthrough Session aimed at providing a detailed
understanding of the event. The Solution Challenge aims at engaging students in developing
real-world solutions using technology, fostering creativity, teamwork, and technical skills. This
session was crucial in equipping participants with the knowledge required to navigate the
challenge effectively.

The session was conducted in an online mode via Google Meet, ensuring accessibility for
students from both PHCET and other external institutes. The event was open to all interested
students, allowing a broader audience to participate and gain insights into the Solution
Challenge. The initiative saw an overwhelming response, with more than 50 students actively
taking part. The primary objective of this walkthrough was to provide a step-by-step guide on
the Solution Challenge, covering key aspects such as eligibility, participation guidelines,
project submission, and evaluation criteria. The Technical Team of the Club took the lead in
explaining these details to the attendees, ensuring clarity and addressing any doubts raised
during the session.

To keep track of successful registrations, a Google Form link was shared with the attendees.
All students who successfully registered on the GDG platform were required to fill out this
form, allowing the organizers to maintain an accurate record of participants. This also ensured
that students had a reference for their registration status, preventing any confusion in the later
stages of the challenge.

After guiding the attendees with the procedural information, it was ensured that each and every
attendee had completed their registration successfully by clearing any kind of doubts the
attendees had while they were registering for the event. Finally, attendees were given
information about the contour of the upcoming steps of the event. The session not only guided
them through the Solution Challenge framework but also instilled confidence in their ability to
take part in competitive technical events.
