right to become children of God.

relationship of Father and child with Him.
- a deep desire to have the Holy Spirit and walk in close fellowship with the
Spirit of God
John 7:37-39 NIV
[37] On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud
voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. [38] Whoever believes in
me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” [39]
By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.
Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been
glorified.

Romans 8:9-11, 14, 16-17, 19 NIV
[9] You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the
Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the
Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
[10] But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death
because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness.
[11] And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he
who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because
of his Spirit who lives in you.
[14] For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
[16] The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
[17] Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with
Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his
glory.
[19] For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be
revealed.
Romans 8:32 NIV
[32] He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not
also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
