Dear Sir,

We thank you for your enquiry and interest shown in our organization.

Further on your RFQ and details, we are pleased to submit our techno-commercial proposal
for the supply of Conveyorized Paint shop and Dip type pre-treatment line for combine
components with I beam 678 Conveyor.

The following are the considerations, while designing the plant: -

• Production capacity based on conveyor speed is of 2.0 m/min.

• Component size is 5 Mtr. X 2.25 Mtr. X 2.5 Mtr. (L x W x H) + Hanger Height 1500 mm
from top conveyor ‘I’ beam.

• Considered paint booth down draft type, conveyorized.

• ‘I’ Beam – 678 Conveyor with supports considered.

• Have taken provision for powder coating booth for straw reaper coating, if required in
future.

• Oven shall be designed in such way which is suitable for both the application.

• Considered Gas fired heating system for oven heating.

5. PLC BASED TRANSPORTER SYSTEM

WORKING OF THE TRANSPORTER


Transporters consist of vehicles running on the overhead track driven by sprocket and chain
type drive with reduction gearbox. On this vehicle is mounted a crane for pick and place
operation. The overhead track of the transporter runs along the pretreatment line enabling it
to reach every individual tank. Crane picks up/places the basket automatically from / to the
desired tank. As per the requirement the system may have one or two loading/ unloading
stations. After picking up the basket from one tank the transporter moves the basket up and
down for 0.5 to 1 minute to allow the drainage of carryover chemicals and thus avoid inter
mixing of chemicals. This operation is called dunking. The transporter’s movement is
preprogrammed and is controlled by PLC.

• The height of the platform shall be approx. 2100 mm from the ground level.
• Access to the platform shall be through an inclined staircase.

7. OIL SEPARATION SYSTEM – FOR KOD & DEG

One oil separation system having MS tank, with heating arrangement and oil removing Disc
coupled to Geared Motor and accessories for KOD / Degreasing stage shall be provided. The
total circulation system will be designed that cascading effect will also be there, to save on
chemical consumption.

8. HOT WATER GENERATOR

Construction Details:
Hot water generator would consist of a Heat exchanger, consisting of two closely wound,
helical, concentric coils. A blow down connection is provided for periodically blowing down any
sludge or accumulated dissolved solids during operation of the generator.

1. The equipment shall have the following design features:

• Dust protected pre-wired foot mounted air-cooled control panel housing a Burner
Management system, Switch gear consisting of contactors, overload relays, fuses
etc. Hot water temperature display on digital temperature controller.

• Automatic fuel burner cut off and automatic restart at desired hot water
temperature.

• Centrifugal pump with drive motor assembly for hot water circulation.

• Uniquely designed expansion tank with control panel.

• Make up water pump with a drive motor assembly.

2. The hot water generator is supplied with complete mountings and fittings as follows:

• Feed check valve and control valve.

• Drain valve.

• Pressure gauges with siphon.

• Hot water outlet with valve flanges.

• Non-return valve with counter flanges.

maintaining the temperature inside the tanks. The maker of 3-way
valves shall be Avcon Control.

9. LOAD BAR FOR MATERIAL HANDLING IN PT

Load bar for material handling of the size 5100 mm – 2300 mm – 2400 mm (L, W, H) shall be
provided. Initially we will provide 06 nos.

More load bars shall be fabricated by you as per our sample load bar with the
required modification at site.

• The load bar shall be made of MS section.

• Lifting arrangements shall be provided for transporter lifting.

spray painted.

11. DOWN DRAFT TYPE LIQUID PAINTING BOOTH

WORKING OF THE BOOTH


The Down Draft booth shall be provided for Manual Painting of components. These Booths
have a washing tank, which contains a water to dissolve the over-sprayed paints. The tanks
shall be made in Civil (in Client’s Scope). The booth water shall be taken to the sludge pit to
a distant from where it will be re-circulated to booth again after Filtration. The water shall be
re-circulated with high powered pumps.

There will be exhaust blowers provided for suction of paint fumes. Exhaust blowers suck the
paint fumes (washed by water) and hence preventing paint from going into the blowers. Air
velocities are regulated to meet international pollution control norms and are maintained over
Lowest Explosive Level.

14. CAMEL BACK TYPE POWDER BAKING OVEN


Description:
The oven is made of an insulated sheet metal enclosure in which hot air is circulated through
a heat exchanger. Blower is provided to circulate the hot air. Hot air is distributed inside the
oven through ducting.
Construction features:
Insulated panels are made of GI sheet metal formed into panels of cassette construction.
One panel is bolted to the other panel with the asbestos tape sandwiched between the two.
Proper reinforcement is provided to make panels rigid. The outside of the oven shall be with
corrugated, pre-coated sheets to give better aesthetic looks.
Hot Air Recirculation:
Hot Air blower forces air over heat exchanger and thus heated air enters the oven and it
returns back to the suction of this fan. The fan will be coated with heat resistant silver color
paint and will be statically and dynamically balanced.
The circulating air blowers draw the air from the working chamber of the oven over the
centralized heat source. This heated air is then fed back in to the working chamber through
the hot air ducts and the adjustable air directional blinds (ADBs). This control is essential for
temperature uniformly over the entire oven cross section.

The complete oven structure shall be elevated to MS pillar structure having UDL on each
member. Insulated ramp shall be provided for access inside the oven.

Ducting:
Internal ducts have openings with fabricated grills are provided to uniformly distribute the
air throughout the oven. These distribution ducts are laid on the floor panel and in between
the conveyor tracks. The suction duct is placed on the roof of the Oven.
The design and placement of air duct with louvers/grills would be in such a way to minimize
the heat loss and to provide overall uniformity of temperature. Moreover, the easy movement
of articles at entry and exit point is provided so that no damage could occur to the painted
surface of articles.
All external ducts will be designed to avoid unnecessary bend and suitably insulated and
laded. The external ducts will be nut bolted to heat exchanger with the help of flanges thus
making maintenance easier.
In-Direct GAS Fired Heat Exchanger:
The heat Exchanger consists of SS 304 combustion chamber with proper arrangement of
suction and discharge connection of hot air circulation blower. The heat exchanger box is
duly insulated to reduce heat losses.
A burner is mounted on the combustion chamber with necessary controls and interlocks.
Maintenance Features:
Doors are provided for maintenance of the heat exchanger during the soothing operation.
Indirect gas fired burner will be back pull-out type for easy fitting.
Safety Features:
The circulating blower is inter-locked with the burner such that the blower is always ‘ON’
before the burner is ‘ON’.

16. WET TYPE AIR SUPPLY UNIT

The Wet Type Air supply unit provides dust free air inside the Booths for Pressurization. The
air is filtered at two stages. Pre – filtration and Water Washing giving the dust free air up to 5
~ 6 microns air inside the enclosed Booth chamber. The air thus fed into the enclosure also
helps in maintaining positive pressure inside the enclosure. This further prevents the chances
of dust entering into the enclosed chamber / flash -off zones from environment.

All cables being taken out would pass through grommet to avoid ingress. All wiring would be
aesthetically routed through proper channels and secured well wherever possible. All switches
and indicator lamps would have legend engraves on black name plate. All cabling would be
routed properly with saddle clamp/trays in aesthetic manner. The panel would have a pocket
to contain circuit diagram. Temperature controllers would be tampering proof.

Note: - Client must provide main incomer cable for the control panels in the plant.

Client has also to provide the Individual Earthing for all Motors / Equipment’s.

Earthing for Individual Motors, for required Equipment’s will be in Client Scope.

18. SCHEDULE OF EXCLUSIONS


The following are the exclusions from our scope of supply.

20. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALES

6. Inspection:

If necessary, the goods will be offered for visual inspection only at our works/our
supplier's works.

The date of inspection will be intimated by us about 10 days in advance and


confirmed by you accordingly. If inspection is not carried out on the date so
advised, we shall be free to dispatch the consignment as per terms of delivery.

7. Delivery of Material: Within 8 ~ 12 Weeks from the date of receipt of your


confirmed order along with advance payment. Delivery will be through part
dispatches in lots and not in complete one lot. Unloading and safe possession of
materials at the site is the responsibility of the buyer.

Installation and Erection & Commissioning would take approx. 10 ~ 12 weeks after
handing over of the site. After 10 weeks both the activities shall go side by side.

8. Payment terms:

Supply: 30% amount of order value shall be made along-with the firm order. 60%
of order value plus 100% of taxes and duties would be made against Performa
invoice on pro rata basis before dispatch, 5% shall be payable after erection and
balance 5% after 15 days of successful commissioning.

9. Validity: Our offer shall remain valid for a period of 30 days from the date of offer.

10. Jurisdiction: All the contracts between purchaser & ourselves are deemed to be
entered at Noida and therefore subject to jurisdiction of civil court in Noida.

11. Warranty

a. All our equipments are thoroughly tested before dispatch and therefore can be
depended upon for long trouble free service. We undertake to make good, by
replacement or repair, defects arising out of faulty design, material or
workmanship, excluding those due to wear and tear within 15 months of the
date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of commissioning, whichever is

earlier, providing that if we do so require, the parts in respect of which
complaint is made, must be dispatched from the purchaser’s site to our works
at the expense of purchaser. Before liability can be entertained under this
clause such expenses will be refunded if our liability is admitted.

b. Bought out components such as motor, pumps, burners, etc. are guaranteed
by us only to the extend of guarantee given to us by respective suppliers.

c. This warranty will be valid subject to:

i. The plant is commissioned by us and erection carried out as per our


drawing and no alterations are made in the plant without our specific
consent in writing.

ii. Plant is operated and maintained by competent technical personnel of


the purchaser, as per our operations and maintenance manual.
However, incase of any complaint regarding the performance of our
plant, we will be free to send our engineer to look in to the problem,
make any alteration / modifications that may be necessary. If it is
established that the problems have arisen due to no fault of ours, all
expenses will be reimbursed to us.
iii. Payments are made as per the agreed schedule.
iv. All inputs to the plant are maintained as per the specification and design.
v. Materials are stored and protected properly.
vi. This warranty does not apply to any bought out component or assembly,
which is not manufactured by us and the manufacturers warranty has
been passed on to the purchaser.
vii. We shall not be responsible for any loss or damages or consequential
damages except for replacing or repairing the defective parts.
viii. The customer shall not be entitled to claim any loss of production or
otherwise any damages from us.
ix. This warranty shall become void if any repair or alteration of
modifications begins made without our approval in writing.
x. Wear & tear, electrical items are excluded from the warranty.
12. General Lien:

We shall have a lien on the equipment supplied by us till all payments due to us
are released. The equipment will not be put into commercial operation or to
beneficial use without our written consent till we withdraw our lien.

13. Cancellation:

Order received and acknowledged by us shall not be subject to cancellation, either


wholly or partly, for any reason whatsoever without our consent.

14. Excess Material At site:

In case of Projects, we may send excess material to site to avoid any delay in the
project schedule due to material shortage. Such excess material will accompany

the regular material, but on the invoice only the value of the regular material will
be reflected. Therefore, after the execution excess material shall be taken back
without commercial invoice from your side. You shall provide the Challan for the
same.
