Development Proposal: Daikibo Machine Health Dashboard
Prepared by Deloitte Consulting
June 30, 2025
1 Overview
Daikibo seeks to enhance operational efficiency by deploying a private dashboard to monitor the
health status of 36 machines across its four factories. This single-page, intranet-based dashboard
will provide real-time visibility into machine performance, leveraging telemetry data to support
proactive maintenance and decision-making. Accessible via Daikibo’s internal authentication
server, the dashboard ensures secure access using company-wide credentials. Deloitte proposes
a web-based solution with a collapsible/expandable interface to display current and historical
machine statuses, tailored to Daikibo’s operational needs. This project aligns with Daikibo’s
goal of optimizing factory performance while maintaining robust security and usability.
2 Scope
The project entails developing a single-page web dashboard hosted on Daikibo’s intranet, with
the following functionality:
• Authentication: Integration with Daikibo’s internal authentication server for seamless
user access using existing company credentials.
• Dashboard Interface: A responsive, single-page view listing the current health status of 9
machines in each of the 4 factories (36 machines total).
• Collapsible/Expandable Views: Hierarchical display allowing users to expand/collapse
factory and machine-level views, showing real-time status and historical telemetry data.
• Data Integration: Real-time ingestion and visualization of telemetry data from all ma-
chines, ensuring accurate and up-to-date status reporting.
• Security: Intranet-only access with secure data handling compliant with Daikibo’s internal
policies.
The dashboard’s design will follow the wireframe provided in the project template (assumed
to include a layout with factory-level collapsible panels and machine status indicators). The
interface will use modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, React) for responsiveness
and scalability, hosted on Daikibo’s internal servers.
3 Estimate
The estimated effort for the project is 320 man-hours, broken down as follows:
• Development (200 hours): Designing and coding the dashboard interface, authentication
integration, and telemetry data processing.
• Testing (80 hours): Unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure functionality,
performance, and security.
• Integration (40 hours): Deploying the dashboard on Daikibo’s intranet and integrating
with the authentication server and telemetry systems.
This estimate assumes a team of 3 developers working with Daikibo’s IT team for integration
and testing.

4 Timeline
The project will be completed in 6 weeks, with the following milestones:
• Week 1: Requirements gathering and design finalization.
• Week 2-3: Dashboard development (interface and data integration).
• Week 4: Authentication integration and initial testing.
• Week 5: User acceptance testing and refinements.
• Week 6: Deployment to intranet and training for Daikibo staff.
5 Support
Deloitte is committed to ensuring the long-term success of the dashboard. Post-deployment, we
offer continuous support, including:
• Bug Fixes: Prompt resolution of any issues identified in production.
• Support Tickets: A dedicated helpdesk for Daikibo staff to report issues or request assis-
tance.
• New Functionality: Optional enhancements (e.g., advanced analytics, additional metrics)
based on Daikibo’s evolving needs, scoped separately.
Our support team will provide regular maintenance and updates to ensure the dashboard re-
mains reliable and aligned with Daikibo’s operational goals.
