One of the most expensive things I’ve ever bought for myself is a laptop.

I bought it last year

from an official electronics store in my city. It’s a MacBook Air, which is known for being quite
pricey, but also very reliable and long-lasting.

The reason I decided to buy it was because I needed a good device for studying. At that time, I
had just started university, and I knew I would need a laptop for taking notes, doing research,
writing assignments, and attending online classes. Besides studying, I also wanted a machine that
could handle some basic photo and video editing, and the MacBook was a good choice for that.

I use the laptop almost every day. It’s become a very important part of my daily routine. I bring
it to class, use it to study at home, and sometimes watch movies or listen to music on it during
my free time.

At first, I was a bit worried about spending so much money. It took me a long time to save up,
and I didn’t want to waste it on something unnecessary. But after buying the laptop, I felt really
proud of myself. It was the first big purchase I made with my own savings, and it felt like a
reward for my hard work. I also felt more motivated to study, knowing that I had invested in
something useful for my future.

Describe something you want to buy but can’t.

One thing I really want to buy but can’t right now is a new laptop. I want to buy it because my
current laptop is old, slow, and sometimes crashes when I open many programs. As a student, I
need a good laptop to study, do assignments, join online classes, and sometimes relax by
watching movies or listening to music.

The laptop I want costs around 20 to 25 million VND. It has a fast processor, long battery life,
and a good screen. I believe it would help me study more effectively and save time.

However, I can’t afford it at the moment because I’m still a university student, and I don’t have
a stable income. My family also needs to spend money on more important things, so I don’t want
to ask them.

If I want to buy it in the future, I plan to find a part-time job. I could work at a coffee shop,
tutor high school students, or maybe do some online freelance jobs. I can also save some money
every month from my allowance.

Even though I can’t buy it now, I hope that in the next year or two, I’ll be able to save enough to
get it. It would make my studies easier and help me feel more confident and independent.

Describe a visit to the Da Nang Museum

About two months ago, I visited the Da Nang Museum, located at 31 Trần Phú Street (main
entrance) and also spans 42–44 Bạch Đằng Street in the city center
This museum showcases a wide variety of historical, cultural and artistic artifacts from
different periods of Da Nang’s development . During my visit, I saw:

 War relics and military artifacts from the Vietnam War era
 Traditional clothing and everyday items from various ethnic groups in Central Vietnam
 Old photographs, documents, and detailed descriptions explaining how Da Nang has
grown over time

I felt very engaged and proud learning about my hometown’s rich history. The museum was
well-organized and clean, and it offered a calm environment with clear signage and multimedia
displays. It made me reflect on how far the city has come and appreciate its cultural roots.

I would definitely recommend the Da Nang Museum to my friends, especially those who are
interested in history and culture. Both locals and tourists would enjoy it—it provides a
meaningful way to understand the city’s past and identity.

Bùi Xuân Phái is a very famous Vietnamese painter. He is best known for painting the Old
Quarter of Hanoi. His works show the beauty and quiet life of the city in the past. His style is
simple but full of emotion. He also painted portraits, countryside, and traditional theatre.

Many people love his art because it makes them feel nostalgic and proud of Vietnamese culture.
He is one of the most important artists in Vietnam.

One activity I really enjoy to stay healthy is doing yoga. I usually practice yoga at home or
sometimes join a class at a local gym. I started doing it about a year ago, and now I try to do it
around 3 to 4 times a week.

Yoga helps me a lot. It makes my body more flexible, improves my posture, and helps me
relax after a long day. Some yoga poses are simple, while others are more challenging, but I
always feel better after practicing.

I like yoga because I don’t need a lot of equipment—just a mat and a quiet space. I can follow
videos online or join a class when I want to learn more.

Yoga also helps my mental health. When I feel stressed or tired, doing yoga for 20 or 30
minutes helps me calm down and focus better.

I think yoga is a great way to stay both physically and mentally healthy, and I would
recommend it to anyone, even beginners.

One useful piece of health advice I received was: “Drink enough water every day.”

My mother gave me this advice when I often felt tired and had dry skin. She told me that
drinking at least 1.5 to 2 liters of water each day is very good for our health. It helps the body
stay strong, improves the skin, and keeps us more focused.

After following her advice, I started to feel better. I had more energy, my skin looked healthier,
and I didn’t feel sleepy during the day.

Now, I always bring a water bottle with me and try to drink water regularly. I think it’s a simple
but very helpful habit. I’m really glad I listened to her advice.

Miêu tả một thành phố bạn đến thăm mà bạn thích

One city I have visited and really liked is Huế, in central Vietnam. I went there with my family
about a year ago, and it was a wonderful trip.

Huế is famous for its rich history and culture. It used to be the capital of Vietnam during the
Nguyễn Dynasty, so there are many beautiful old buildings, such as the Imperial City, royal
tombs, and pagodas. I loved walking around and learning about Vietnamese history.

Besides that, Huế is also very peaceful. The streets are quiet, the air is fresh, and the Perfume
River makes the city look calm and romantic. The food in Huế is also special — I tried bún bò
Huế, bánh bèo, and chè, and they were all delicious.

I liked Huế because it was both relaxing and meaningful. I learned a lot and felt very peaceful
there. If I have a chance, I would love to go back again. I would also recommend it to anyone
who loves culture, history, and good food.

Câu 4 : một thị trấn mà tôi muốn thăm trong tương lai

One rural town I plan to visit in the future is Sa Pa, in the north of Vietnam. I have never been
there before, but I have seen many photos and videos, and it looks very beautiful and peaceful.

Sa Pa is known for its green mountains, rice terraces, and cool weather. It is home to many
ethnic minority groups, such as the H'Mong and Dao people, so I want to learn more about
their culture and lifestyle.

I also want to try hiking in the mountains and enjoy the fresh air. Life in the countryside is very
different from the city, so I think it will help me relax and feel closer to nature.

I hope I can go there next year with my friends or family. I believe it will be a great experience
and a nice break from busy city life.
