BATCH HOUSE
 SUMMRY: -Batch is the measure plant, the first process
of bottle making start from the batch house,
 In batch house raw material feeding, storages &batch
making and batch transfer to furnace silo for melting
process
 Operations include in batch house is like batch making,
batch transfer, equipment handling and take care of its
PM- of all equipment silo level maintain, storage area
housekeeping

 NOW WE ARE LEARNING THE FOLLOWING PROCESS WHICH IS

 Raw material Tuck


Unloading Process

 The hydraulic truck unloader provides for easy and time


saving.
 Flint sand and Amber sand has single Unloading paint
 Soda ash also coming in jumbo bag which is lifted by
bucket elevator and transport in silo no- 5
 Raw material has single unloading point.
 Raw material Receiving.
 Then sample collection Lab test and sample ok then trick
send to unloading area.
 After taking the paper from the truck driver.
 the employee checks the paper properly and makes the
truck stand at the unloading point.
 The rear wheel of the truck is on the equal supporter,
otherwise the hopper is clean only then the vehicle has to
be emptied.

 Magnet Collection, Raw


Material Silo Selection
 Magnet collection: - every transport belt had magnet
which clean every shift and mention magnet value in our
log book.

 Raw material silo selection: -first we go to the SCADA,


after that we go to the silo area, then we click on the silo
of the raw material which has to be started and turn on
the silo of that raw material from there.

 Final Processed Cullet


Quality Inspection in Yard
(Colour/Flint)
 We take 2 buckets of 20KG each and put material in it,
then we pour that material on the ground, out of it stones,
alumina, magnetic metals, non-magnetic metals, organic
pollutant come out. If we get more stone alumina than
according to our SCADA, we return that vehicle
 Batch House Field
Inspection and Round
 This is very important part of our batch house if you take it
regular field round you can find out the abnormities of our
equipment which is short out early that helps us to fiend
to process of our equipment.
 Scale Calibration

 Arrange the standard weights near the weigh bin to be


checked for calibration.
 Hold the step when weighing scale is in empty condition.
 Put the weight standard step by step in balanced manner
according to weighing scale capacity and note the reading
in Daily weighing scale sheet
 Verify the quantity put in the weigh bin and the value on
SCADA record the same as actual weight put and SCADA
reading.
 If the difference between actual weight laded and SCADA
value is more than tolerance specified in formula sheet
them inform instrumentation Department

 Silo level Measurement
 Go to silo top area.
 Remove the silo cover.
 Ensure raw material loading should not be in operation.
 Insert the rope into silo, when raw material touches the
rope stop insertion and ensure that it has really touched
the raw material surface by feel
 Note the actual level coming in the measuring top,
 According to that level the material is put inside that silo.
 Batch house mixer cleaning process
 Batch house mixer cleaning Prepare the permits
needed Lotto.
 sand the permit to shift leader for signature
 Batch plant Team will call electrician to apply
Lotto (lock out tag out)
 Electrician will apply the lotto on mixer that is not
in use the signage in the mixer after pressing the
emergency stop Operators and cleaners will
remove the quick release lock of the mixed one by
one.
 Be sure that the operators are wearing proper PPE
before entering inside the mixer to cleaning
activates
 Manual batch preparation from
zippe panel (Service mode)
 Print actual formula
 Go to service mode on the panel
 Push hand button
 Push Nr1 for select component
 After component (1-n) selection-push enter button then
[Q]
 Now you can dose course with the button [4]and dosing
fine with the button [5] check actual weight on the display
 When its required to dosing more component of one scale,
then you have to push [T]after finishing each component
so the scale shows for every component number – [0] Kg
 After finishing dosing of the relevant scale – push the
button [T]again and the complete actual scale value will
the show.
