Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, judges, teachers, and my beloved friends.
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Juansar Aputra Paso, and I am from SMP
Paripurna Swakarsa.
Secondly, let us give thanks to Allah the Almighty, because today we are given health and
the opportunity to gather in this special moment. I also want to say thank you to the
committee and the judges for giving me a chance to deliver my speech.
The theme of my speech today is “Education as the Key to Our Future.”
Ladies and gentlemen,
Education is like a light in the middle of darkness. Without education, our life will be like
walking in the night without a lamp. We may walk, but we do not know where to go, and
we may easily fall.
Education teaches us not only how to read, write, or count. More than that, education
teaches us how to dream, how to think, and how to make our life meaningful. Nelson
Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change
the world.” And I truly believe in that.
Dear friends,
Sometimes we think education is only about going to school, sitting in class, and listening to
teachers. But actually, education is more than that. Education starts from our family, from
our environment, and from every experience we face. Every time we learn something new,
we grow stronger.
Let us imagine: a child who studies hard today may become a doctor who saves lives in the
future. A student who reads and writes today may become a teacher who educates
hundreds of children tomorrow. And maybe, one of us here, with strong education, will be
the next leader of our country.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Education is also a key to break the chain of poverty. With good education, we can get a
better job, earn a better life, and help our family and community. That is why, no matter
how difficult our life is, we must never give up on learning.
My beloved friends,
Let us be honest. Sometimes we feel tired of studying. Sometimes we feel lazy to read
books or to do our homework. But remember this: every time we open a book, every time
we listen to our teacher, every time we try to solve a problem, we are building our own
future.
So today, I want to invite all of us:
Let us love learning.
Let us respect our teachers.
Let us support each other in education.
Because our future depends on what we learn today.
Ladies and gentlemen,
To end my speech, I want to remind you: education is not just a choice, but a responsibility.
A responsibility to ourselves, to our parents, and to our country. So, let us study hard,
dream big, and make our future bright through education.
That’s all my speech from me, Juansar Aputra Paso from SMP Paripurna Swakarsa. I hope it
can inspire us to always learn and never give up. Thank you very much for your kind
attention.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
