Part 2 – Task Card (miêu tả):
Describe a job you would like to have in the future.
Right now, I’m studying accounting at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City.
To be honest, it’s not really my favorite major. I used to be really into becoming a singer,
but my parents didn’t support that decision, so I ended up falled into a dilemma between
following my passion and listening to my parents.
In the end, I chose their path because they explained how important it is to have a stable
life. And honestly, that’s a pretty popular sentimental among most Asian parents. So in the
future, I hope to become both a singer and an accountant — one for financial stability, and
one for passion.
As a singer, I feel like I can truly be myself, express my emotions, and show my own style.
When I was a kid, I went through a lot of vulnerable moments and even depression, mostly
because of issues with my family and people around me. So I want something step out pf
the comfort zone — something that breaks the mold.
Back to accounting, though — with how competitive the job market is, if you want to have
stable income and avoid enormous strain on your financial, accounting is considered to be
a realiable career for this. So I have to balance between my dream and reality in the fast-
paced life ,
Describe a person you know who has an interesting job.
Describe a job you think is difficult to do.

🔸 Part 3 – Discussion:
What are the most common jobs in your country?
As far as I know, jobs related to economics are common for women, while men
usually go for jobs involving machinery. That’s because most people just want a
stable income to take care of their family and afford things like entertainment and
healthcare."
What jobs do you think are respected the most?
From my perspective, I really respect jobs that involve
protecting the environment, maintaining social security, and
especially helping others. These jobs support the community and
help people live a peaceful and safe life. I think they truly deserve
to be called silent heroes.
How has the nature of work changed in recent years?
The nature of work has changed significantly in today’s fast-paced life, mainly because of
the rise of technology. It has had a positive impact on many areas of business and made the job
market more competitive. People who aren’t tech-savvy can be easily left out and take away
from job opportunities.
Is it more important to earn a lot of money or to enjoy what you do?
this question is creating a provoke controversial in each people's
opinion. For me , both are really crucial in terms of having a stable
income or job's furfillment. So after graduating, I will tend to find a high-
paying job to make ends meet like healthcare, education or dating and
fun times with friends and after having a stable financial, I will find a
adequate job for my passion and dream
