📘 Communication Skills – Lecture 2 & 3 (Merged Notes)

Topics: Elements of Communication + Communication Process

Duration: 2 Hours (1 hour per lecture)

---

🎯 Learning Objectives
1. Communication ke bunyadi anasir aur unka role samajhna.

2. Communication process ke steps seekhna aur apply karna.

3. Real-life examples aur role-plays ke zariye practice karna.

---

Lecture 2 – Elements of Communication

Duration: 1 Hour

1. Introduction (5 min)

Sawal: “Agar mai aap ko kuch kehna chahta hoon, to asal me mujhe kin cheezon ki zarurat
hoti hai?”

Bridge: Communication ek system hai jo 6 anasir par mabni hai.

2. Elements of Communication (25 min)

1. Sender (‫ – )بھیجنے واال‬Paighaam banata aur bhejta hai.

2. Message (‫ – )پیغام‬Maloomat/jazbaat jo bhejna hain.

3. Channel (‫ – )ذریعہ‬Zariya jahan se paighaam guzarta hai.

4. Receiver (‫ – )وصول کرنے واال‬Paighaam receive karta hai.

5. Feedback (‫ – )جواب‬Receiver ka jawab.

6. Noise (‫ – )رکاوٹ‬Har wo factor jo communication disturb kare.

📍 Diagram (Board/Slide):
Sender → Message → Channel → Receiver → Feedback
(Noise har stage pe aa sakta hai)

3. Examples (10 min)

Teacher lecture deta hai → Students sunte aur jawab dete hain.

Doctor patient ko dawa samjhata hai.

4. Activity (15 min)

Groups banayein → Har group ek scene perform kare (shop, doctor, class).

Class identify kare: Sender, Message, Channel, Receiver, Feedback, Noise.

5. Recap (5 min)

6 elements oral Q&A ke zariye repeat.

Question: “Mobile pe signal weak ho jaye to kaunsa element effect hota hai?”

Lecture 3 – Communication Process

Duration: 1 Hour

1. Introduction (5 min)

Recall Lecture 2: Elements of Communication.

Transition: Ye elements mil kar ek flow banate hain jo “Process of Communication” kehlata
hai.
2. Steps of Communication Process (25 min)

1. Idea Generation (‫ – )خیال کی تخلیق‬Sender ke dimagh me paighaam aata hai.

2. Encoding (‫ – )تشکیل‬Idea ko zubaan, likhai ya symbols me badalna.

3. Transmission (‫ – )ترسیل‬Medium ke zariye paighaam bhejna.

4. Reception (‫ – )وصول کرنا‬Receiver paighaam receive karta hai.

5. Decoding (‫ – )سمجھنا‬Receiver paighaam ko samajhta hai.

6. Feedback (‫ – )جواب دینا‬Receiver ka jawab.

7. Noise (‫ – )رکاوٹ‬Kisi bhi qadam pe rukawat aa sakti hai.

📍 Diagram (Board/Slide):
Sender → Encoding → Channel → Decoding → Receiver → Feedback
(Noise har jagah interfere kar sakta hai)

3. Real-life Examples (10 min)

Teacher → Lecture → Students → Feedback.

Friend call → Signal issue (Noise).

4. Activity (15 min)

Ek student apna paighaam banaye (e.g., “Aaj picnic chalein?”).

Dusra student decode karke jawab de.

Teacher intentionally “Noise” create kare (shor ya signal issue).

Class discuss kare ke Noise ne process ko kaise effect kiya.

5. Recap (5 min)

Steps ko oral Q/A se revise karwayen.

Rapid Fire:

Encoding kya hai?

Feedback kyun zaroori hai?

🔑 Summary (Lecture 2 & 3 Together)

Har communication ke 6 anasir hote hain: Sender, Message, Channel, Receiver, Feedback,
Noise.

Ye anasir ek process ke zariye chalti hain jisme idea generation se lekar feedback tak stages
hoti hain.

Noise har jagah barrier ban sakta hai.

Practice aur role-plays se students ko real-life communication samajhne me asaani hogi.
