Autobiography
My name is Leorymae R. Abrico born on February 16, 2002 at Mlang Cotabato. I am the third
child among the five siblings. I am currently studying for Bachelor of Science and Social Work at
Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology in Doroluman, Arakan Cotabato
(CFCST). Living in a rural community is so enjoyable. I learned how to develop myself, to be
patient, kind and also values of hard work. There is a lot of things that I like and few things that I
don't like. I like having fun with friends and going somewhere. Sometimes I also prefer to stay at
home watching television and talking about happy experiences with my family and also taking
care to my live in partner and son. The thing that I don't like is when someone bathers me while
I am doing an important matter.
My parents are Rey G. Abrico and Leonie R. Abrico, both of them are very caring, loveable and
protective. My father is working as a government employee while my mother is a child
development worker here at Municipality of Arakan. I have four siblings, my oldest sister and
brother has already finished their studies and now bothered their own families while my two
younger sisters are recently studying at Greenfield High School. Arnel Vincente is my live in
partner and also a 4th year college student at Katipunan Extension of CFCST and we have a
joyful and handsome Son, Axyl Lois A. Vicente a ten months old. Aside from studying, I am also
spend time for my family and the most important thing that I cannot forgot is worshiping God. I
am very lucky and grateful to have a healthy and complete family. We have experienced many
difficulties in life but we never let them to brake our family.
I am honored and grateful that I experiencing trainings and seminars like drug symposium,
seminar for women’s, Red Cross seminar and trainings. Attending in this kind of activity is very
memorable for me because of this, I learned a lot and also I learned how to handle any
situations that I will encountered. This activity made us realize the importance of having a
trainings and seminars before we enter a task/job.
As my journey continues I want to be one of the social worker soon, driven my passion for
helping people those in need. I am a dedicated student for exploring new ideas, achieving my
goals and desire. This experiences and learnings can make us success. Believe in yourself,
never give up and work hard to overcome all commitments and sacrifices

My learning in handling and interviewing clients should focus on
developing strong communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
Proper preparation, including researching the client background and goal, is
key to asking insightful questions and understanding their needs. Building
rapport through clear, respectful communication helps establish trust and
enhance understanding. I learned that we should be equipped to handle
difficult situations, manage expectations, and negotiate solutions. Lastly,

RATIONALE HIGHLIGTHS OF THE ACTIVITY
In this activity we will participated and witness the Women’s month
celebration of all Women participants coming from different barangays
here in Arakan. This activity will be the celebration and refresher for
their success and achievements as a partner and parent. This is the
way for women to relax even for a short time and to let all women know
that they still have the right to have fun and be happy. It is also a way
to make them feel that they are important and useful to the community
and to show that women can support and develop themselves and their
families with respect and love for others.
PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED
During this activity I encountered some difficulties like some of the
participants in other Barangay cannot go because of some reasons.
LEARNING INSIGHTS
Attending a Women’s Month celebration offers valuable insights into the
ongoing fight for gender equality and the importance of acknowledging
the contributions of women across all sectors of society. It highlights
the diverse experiences of women, shedding light on both their
achievements and challenges they continue to face. These events often
encourage reflection on issues like gender bias, social justice, and
empowerment, fostering a sense of solidarity and action. By attending,
one can gain a deeper appreciation for the need to support women’s
rights and work towards creating a more inclusive society that values
and contributions of all women.
