BEFORE YOU BEGIN
To install and use NavStation, you first need to have a working NavBox installation
If NavBox is installed on a separate computer (e.g physical NavBox), the PC running NavStation must
be able to connect to the NavBox on the ports/protocols listed below:

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
• Windows 7 SP1 or Windows 2008 Server R2
• 1GHz Dual-Core CPU
• 4GB RAM
• 16 GB free HD space
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
• Computer running Windows 10 64-bit
• Intel Core i5 CPU or equivalent
• 8GB RAM
• Solid State Drive (SSD)
• Direct-X 11 Compatible Graphics Card
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
• NavBox
Either on a physical NavBox provided by NAVTOR or NavBox SW installed on your own PC
• NavStation installation package
<NavStick>:\INFO\NSW\NavStation.msi
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 or newer (If using integrated AENP viewer)
<NavStick>:\INFO\NAVTOR\Setup\Microsoft\
• ADP (Admiraly Digital Publications) version 18 or newer (If using integrated ADP viewer)

INSTALLING NAVSTATION
1. Insert the NavStick in the PC where you want to install NavStation
2. Browse to <NavStick>:\INFO\NSW\
3. Double-click [NavStation.msi] and follow the installation wizard.
4. During the wizard you have the option to install for Current User (does not require local
admin permission) or for All Users (requires local admin permission).
5. Verify that NavStation can be started without any error messages, and that all ordered
services are active (blue icons)
